Seems to be lacking in survival elements? Seems like all military stuff. Fine for those that enjoy that, but with no zombies and no challenge to survive, no cooking of food or hunting or anything, it’s not a survival or zombie game right now. It’s a sandbox shooter.
yeah it has food and water at least now its a solid foundation. its getting new features very often so i think in a year it will be close to this point. i wish this server would add civilian or apocalyptic style clothing though
I thought with modding they could only modify orginal code that's already in the Arma Reforger files? Can they actually implement such mechanics without arma reforger already containing them?
@@truthseeker9587modding capabilities rely on the engine used to create the game, not what’s present. Basically anything that can be created with the same engine the game runs on can be modded into the game so long as you can write code 😂
@@truthseeker9587 arma franchise is upgrading engines which is why it’s taken so long for mods to be developed. Mod creators are having to relearn all the tools they’ve been using for years
agreed. this cannot be called dayz. Remember times i was playing arma2 dayz mod it was something with something. :)

you can actually pick up loot? can you eat the food you actually have in your hand instead of it graphically stuck there while you slowly die of hunger and are unable to pick up anything else due to food stuck in your hand?

If I played console this would be a no brainer but this doesn’t come close to pc standalone …minus the water , which just looks amazing

they are adding zombies the mod needed some more work

The mod is cross platform evilside is on the server team so he added the tree house in the files only boxes for base building atm

No it's not making progress because this game is and always will be a milsim. Not a survival game at its heart. It's no dayz, but I guess there's alot of aspects to it.

The vanilla game is junk, that wont fix it, need a big survival update, only thing keeping the game alive now is mods.
