He does not usually provide details on such important things. Can you yourself elaborate on what those seals are? I cannot quite tell what it is, in order to make one myself. Can you give some more info on it?
Cost of 3d printing the pump, using DC battery or dc power supply will be more than that of commercially available ac pumps. Maybe if this used an AC motor it would be more commercially viable because a 12v 250 watt DC power supply will be way expensive then just using a 220v AC induction motor.
@@__MINT_ it's not about using a cheaper power supply. But by not using a power supply you can eliminate the cost entirely in addition to this I also talked about the viability of 3D printing for mass production at a low price. Why spend more on things that are already available.. if you want to experiment to increase efficiency of the pump or the entire setup is different story. But from the looks of it he hasn't put a lot of thought into the design of the pump so I would say this was a good and well executed attempt but it would not be viable for him to mass produce it the same way.. n the end cost to consumer would be insane for what the competition has to offer.
@@__MINT_If you make anything and you like it .. good for you. I just pointed out a few points..as I design high and low volume and head pumps as a professional. I just gave a few constructive points which might help people avoid the difficulties that i faced.
Next time you connect to your battery connect the positive (+) first then the negative (-) and you will not get a spark. Plus you will not spike your motor or whatever you might be connecting to. This is just like connecting a battery in your car. If you connect the positive last you have a chance of spiking the computer and causing damage, this goes with all things electric.
I already made water pump using 775 motor, it works but not for long term use. Once the pump starts to suck water, it draws lots of amps and it becomes damn hot and finally smoke. For UA-cam show , it's ok because it's only for one minute or two.
Amigos, la pieza que aparece en el minuto 3:03 y 3:30 es un sello mecánico para bomba centrifuga. Saludos Friends, the part that appears at 3:03 and 3:30 is a mechanical seal for a centrifugal pump. Greetings
The motor is capable of running on 24v. I think you should try it and compare the pressure and flow rate to 12v. If possible to a short vid to show the difference.
That seal between the impeller housing and the motor is very legit. DIY channels usually skimp on that. Cheer mate. Keep them videos coming.

@@dionjennings2379 That looks like a ceramic mechanical seal. used in real pumps.(probably Bell and Gossett seal)

You can buy in AliExpress a water pump with 5v or 12v voltage.

Can you do a homemade go card power steering video please✌✌✌✌✌✌✌✌✌
You should use a geared 775 motor like 1:2 ratio
As you'll get more torque and more water force
At present you are just overloading the motor
It's running at 12V
