Personally, I think he sounds better live than in the studio. It just feels so raw.
Goldtone live is way better than the recording
I love his live stuff too he sounds better it’s like he pushes it harder live
He sounds great live and he’s a good guitar 🎸 picker.
Agreed
💯
hes the first musician ive been able to honestly say always sounds better live and its because rock and roll is what he does, this is him in his element, his live preformances always have a new something special in ever single one that you never see coming
Kurt sounding Neil Young-ish on that Les Paul. Raw. Change of pace from his usual axes.
He wants to be Neil Young I think
He'll never be Neil Young, but you can't help, but like him. Having said that, I cannot believe you can't hear the 'real' influence....
It's 'Green On Red'!!!!
Listen to 'Honest Man', 'Jamie', 'Jimmie Boy', 'Time Ain't Nothin' & 'Time Slips Away'.... and so many MORE!!!!
Kurt.... is a Green On Red fan....but as much as I love his work.... he's Green On Red..... LIGHT!! Still like him tho :)
I felt the same
Great song, good to see Kurt getting bigger gigs
Wow this is even better than the record! Flawless. Kurt is getting more talented every year. I love the way he tells stories with his guitar
Thank you Mr. Vile for your superb songs. You are the best guitarist in the world and a so clever man. I already enjoy to see you again in Switzerland or in an other place. Your music is the best addiction.
Vile was a favorite from day one and since...hey so are they.
Flippin musical genius!
careful, guys. SOME STRONG LANGUAGE.
they have to put these disclaimers on legally

Absolutely brilliant live!! Driving areeeoound!!!

This was the first set I was at the front. By myself and the best set
This is proper rock music!
Loving all these Glasto clips. Hope I could make it over there sometime
Best festival in the world - nothing comes close.
This was one of my favourite gigs of the last few years. Kurt rocks.
@@AD-rx8wc nah that would be Wacken :D but i hope one year i can come to Glasto just to experience it. My only experiences in uk Festivals are Download, Reading and Bloodstock^^
Effortlessly cool.

без остановки могу слушать! парень отрыв!
That is a nice Les Paul! I like Kurt Vile! He’d be fun to hang out with! And I like his music! It’s kind of trippy and psychedelic! His lyrics sure are!
theres a beach on the moon my friend....
Philadelphia PA baby!
Saw Kurt in our pretty little town (you bet I parked for free).
this is proper!! 10/10 the nuts

RIP Rob Laakso
i wish my hair were this beautiful
That sweet drawwwwlllll.
That was amazing
Very nice Orville LP! Like the Neil Young vibe too!
Love it!
Damn, very neil young with his les paul, very nice!
What are talking about? Vocally he sounds Nothing like Neil Young! No one does actually.
And he doesn’t sound like Dylan either. He’s an original!
@@dynjarren8355 calm your tits man. i love kurt vile.
First time hearing these guys. Sounds very Tom Petty. That’s a good thing.
pure Kurt
orville!!
かっけぇ~~
Kurt like Neil is a Spiritual artist- childlike in imagination and utterly original. for instance Neil plays with crazy horse- average musicians. He doesn't care. Kurt walks up to the mike and just says some silly thing I might say alone in a childlike mood- he doesn't care!
@Shannon Tharpa Doyle
I like that Kurt is more explicitly religious than Neil.
He sings “Jesus loves me, yes I know” and Jesus On A Wire is a great song also.
Beautiful fucking music!
Whenever he's says arrround. I get funny feelings
Kurt playing an Orville, don’t let Mark Agnesi see this or he’ll send in the denim/leather jacket police.
louderthangod It’s a nice guitar. Must be a Chibson.
nickdryad The old Orville’s were made in Japan and licensed by Gibson.
louderthangod I was close. It didn’t look like a typical Gibson. I was guessing it was Chinese made and looks too new for a 1980s Japanese Orville.
Much better played at 1.25. Sounds like REM
Idk about that. The instrumental sounds interesting, but it doesn’t fit his vocal cadence.
Where's the rest of this gig BBC?
Shits fire kurts a g
I park fo FREE!!!
I park for free too!
C'mon maaaaaaaaaan!
Strong language?
brazilian flag, yay!
Reminds of dire straits
You should try the war on drugs too 👍 (Kurt's former band)
Is that a Fender Champ?
Ye
these guys are obviously trading on their looks
Please please Kurt don3t get too full of yourself.love you as you are
Nice Orville
Good, but somehow I feel violated.......................;)
Nice Joe Biden quote in the beginning there.
Most people don't have the ability to produce something original so we go in a loop, re-producing something that already was just for the sake of saying they have created. Humans go in circles and they are shameless about it.
Could you possibly stop complaining ... and commenting. To use your tired refrain against you; I've already heard it and read it. Many times.
@@johnzimmerman1159 You're not worth my time. I'm going to go enjoy my day now, bye.
lol the radio version is so much better, they had no respect for england
Sounds terrible big fan of his but... what is this
Boring
Hater.
