He was a true Jedi, perhaps more true than anyone else knew. The sad part is that he blames himself in his afterlife for what happened with Anakin, but ultimately it was Anakin's conscious choice to betray his destiny and the Jedi rather than any direct fault of Qui-Gon's.
Except things would’ve gone differently for Anakin if Qui Gon had survived, without him there was nobody who could counter Palpatine’s manipulation of Anakin.
Truly one of the greatest prequel characters for sure! Absolutely love what you've done here as always, Qui-Gon's legacy in the franchise is truly awesome and the vid is complete perfection. Nicely done, mate!
I love this. I believe the 4 most important people in the Star Wars saga are Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Luke. Qui-Gon was a follower of the living force, defying the Jedi council not to disparage the Jedi Order, but to save it. Obi-wan, the prodigal knight, a true Jedi who never let anything falter his teachings, no matter how painful. Anakin, the Broken, who only wanted to save and fix since childhood. And Luke the Redeemer, who would rather die than fight his Father. Who’s willing sacrifice would put Anakin back on the path so he could fulfill his destiny as the Chosen one who would bring balance.
Man, the only reason why I continue to love Star Wars these days is because of tributes like this. The trajectory of star wars is suicidal right now. Thankfully, these tributes remind us the true beauty and the actual meaning of Star wars. It's why it is not yet dead to me at least. Keep up the great work man
Qui Gon died too soon. But the fact that he still believed in Anakin even after everything that happened was the hope of a true father. He knew what the future would hold. That is why he accepted his death and tasked Obi Wan to train Anakin. It was a long road toward balance but that it was all worth it in the end.

For Obi Wan's 15th birthday, he gave him a stone from a river from his homeworld (looked like the Arkenstone stone from the Hobbit).
