MAKE SOME NOISEE!!! :)) totaly agree, number one to go when i wanna know something in ableton. maybe need more entertaining content for the algorithm to pick it up more(?) i just assume since all the big guys out there do more than tutorials, i am not sugesting you stop the tutorials!!!!!!🤪 but music videos and music in general its also a big ruler since most likely your followers will give you much more watch time.
“[The Bassline] is a little higher pitched… but that’s because y’all are playing on your cellphones, and not headphones like you should be.” That’s high quality teaching right there. That level of consideration turned the video into a 1 on 1 private lesson.👏🏼👏🏼
you're literally the best teacher of any daw or tbh any music-related thing i've ever seen. thank you so much for helping me take my sound design and daw skills in general to the next level
I just came from watching your guitar amp sounds in ableton video and seeing this versatility gets me fairly excited to possibly check out your deeper tutorials. The amount of information you get across while showing great examples in real time is perfect for my learning style. Cheers!
Hey man, just wanted to let you know a random stranger is giving you love on the ableton subreddit. It was on a post about youtubers who actually teach ableton, and not just structure videos around ads/ Found you from that and am not disappointed. Thank you for taking time to teach others. Subscribed!
See this is why I gotta keep watching videos like this. I was complaining how clunky the damn automation process is. Totally never even tried drawing automation with the pen lol.
You are one of the most valuable sources of inspiration for Ableton on the net. If i am in need of inspiration to make new music, I just play your videos on a second monitor , while I create music!!! With out your videos , I would be lost. You are changing the lives of many creators, by offering so much ( correct and valuable) content. Thank you so much!
Very nice, I use that kind of trick from a long time, but, I like to see how different people, explain the same topic. It's so instructive! Thanks for the video!
Yo thanks for the inspiration, I always forget I can automate the glide time. 5 minutes in and I'm firing up Ableton in the background peace and love brotha
About 1 min 40 in i was starting to think.. "hmm, good quality video, but without an example to see from the start, i'm just not going to have the energy to really learn this right now" Then boom, you drop a nice example in that you work from scratch. Nice.
Cool tip. Would never have considered automating the glide. Most of my tracks are filtered down subby and dubby basslines so something like this might be too much for most of my tracks but might try one with a more upfront bass to mix it up.
I loved that last little note octave change at the end, going to check out some of that spice now :-) like to see more on bass lines from you (like note patterns), you do really cool ones.
Hey dude. I really appreciate your content, and I plan to purchase your courses when they’re available. You bring a compelling new voice to the music-ed space that I find much more relevant to modern music making. Cheers!
shit i have been completely neglecting automating any features in serum. just been relying on LFO's and envelopes. this makes things way more interesting, im excited. thanks so much man!
Absolutely brilliant! A very well thought out, creative and inspiring tutorial . BTW, I was about during those hedonistic acid-house days. 48 isn't that old, come on! Lol. Hello from UK.
@SeedtoStage is it possible to make this 16.40 at Serum as i am different DAW...as i have tried keytrack note to filter in Serum but cant figure out how to keytrack the2nd filter to the note...Plz Guide
@@SeedtoStage aah i figured. Could you maybe at some point make a video on building a pc suited for music production? Really would like to hear your perspective on this
you can send the midi notes themselves but the glide has toggled on/supported by the Synth itself. I think that the TD3 supports glide through midi because the software vst version of the TB303 does
guilty!!! using my phone without headphones just for the needy greedy details you always provide! probably should listen your music after with proper sound system
still dont know why this channel hasnt blown up yet. Every single one of your videos is not only extremely informative but also immensely inspiring!

Bor please keep it coming! Your Ableton instruction is LIFE
Followed. Already been checking out your Spotify, you got dope tunes man! I really enjoyed your latest album "Identity Mitosis". Amazing!
I usually combine Legato bend and the pitch bend of the synth together. Great videos overall!

Great video again my friend. I'll be getting the course when I can!

Simple, efficient and brilliantly demonstrated as usual, my man! Enjoyed your music as well! Curious about those courses :)
Do you ever do one on one classes? I want to show you my stem files, let you listen, and get some feed back and some techniques that might help me.
Love it! As always ❤

Yeah you're doing great. Instant subscribe and THANK YOU.
very helpful, thanks.
Awesome, thanks! Maybe that's how they do the psy chill bass lines :)
Amazing!
Will this technique work on a virtual bass guitar, like the NI Rickenbacker, etc?

Superb ☝
if I would make that sound, I probably would use sampler and the osc to save cpu. or operator. ;) using a wavetable synth is so cpu demanding
Awesome 👍🙏🖖
Hey bro what laptop are you using? Really cool video btw 👌

WOW WOW LOVE U
This video might be the best laxative I've ever tried.
Do You Sell This Preset?
Didn't they add something like thid in Live 11?

Aren't you gonna have hard time cleaning up after spilling all of this sauce?
not on handphones, on a computer with monitors, who I think these videos should be targeted ; )
