Friendship with Charlotte

The learners of Grade 3A admired the beautiful friendship between Charlotte and Wilbur, in the novel, Charlotte's Web by E.B.White. They learned to focus on the beauty of friendship as well as the importance of choosing a true friend. They even got time to introspect their friendship with each other in class: being loyal to one another and sometimes even making sacrifices. With a thought to redefine friendship and express their gratitude to their friends, Grade 3A learners celebrated Friendship’s Day in school with Charlotte and Wilbur, on Monday, March 6, 2023. They were dressed as the main characters from the novel and enjoyed enacting their favourite part of the story. They got their favourite snacks to share with their friends, for they now know that sharing is caring; they had a friendyumptious time together. At the end of the day, their faces gleamed with joy and their unspoken words echoed: friends make the world beautiful!
