There’s been 58000 days since football was invented. For one trillion games to have been played there would’ve had to be over 17 million games of football a day every single day since the very beginning of football. If you’re classing a game in the garden with ur brother as a match it might be possible but proper football matches there’s no way
Great thinkinh👍
Takas ua-cam.com/video/ifidIi7su8c/v-deo.html
That’s what I’m saying, if you classify any game of football played with any variations of the rules, I think there has been over a trillion. But not full games, I doubt even 100 million games have been played in that time
Smart Asses
@@AZ-ss4jo I think for it to classify as a game there has to be an official referee present in order to start/stop the game
Baseball is the best sport for “one in a million” moments. There’s just this randomness about every pitch, every play where something insane could happen, and crazy moments happen here and there
I've often said baseball goes from the mundane to the insane in a moment.
i don't think some people realise that the difference between a million and a trillion is about a trillion it's kinda crazy how big it actually is
who are you
The difference between 100 billion and a trillion is about a trillion lol

For reference in baseball, if the outfielder catches the ball it’s an out, even if that fielder crashes into the wall and it somehow breaks. It’s only a home run if the ball goes ABOVE the yellow-padded line at the top of the wall.
Slight caveat here, if the ball hits off a fielder without bouncing and then goes over the fence it is a home run happened to Canseco I believe in the 80s or 90s
And also in this video too
Just to add to this. As a baseball player myself, lightning while a game is going isn't good they are technically the highest point in the area. Hence why they all darted off
For curiosity sake lets say theres a runner in 2nd, could he advance? Is the play blown dead? What happens from there?
@@Aloudgamer if it's caught yes it's dead. If it's not caught them play continues

For reference, One million seconds are 12 days.
One billion seconds are 32 years, One trillion seconds is nearly 32,000 years, so i very much doubt theres been that many games played lmao.
It has nothing to do with time, there could be 100 million games of football going on at a time, you couldn't really calculate it due to the amount of games that happen
Tiki ua-cam.com/video/ifidIi7su8c/v-deo.html
@@yanon4139 there hasn't been one trillion games, it's impossible
@@alvaranto9457Impossible i know, i'm just mainly saying it's nothing to do with time
@@alvaranto9457 you are disregarding that there are 2 scaling elements with this, both time and number of games, theoretically there could be 200 million games of football taking place at the moment ( 22 players minimum x 200 million games = 4,400,000,000 billion people, just over half worlds population), if this was repeated 5 times a day (an unlikely scenario i know), you would already reach 1 billion games in just 1 day, this would hit 1 trillion games in just 1000 days, and football had been around for a lot longer than 1000 days.
counting normal football games with friends n family. Definitely over a Trillion

If a football game were played consecutively without any breaks it would still take 171232876 years to do a trillion matches.
6:35 he went passed the boundary. the catch was made before going through the boundary. he caught it in bounce and his momentum put him pass the boundary. you see when baseball players jump up and catch balls that's going over the boundary so your going pass the boundary is false.
Whoever uploaded this video should name it 1 in a million moments in american football and basketball.
Assuming each football game is 90 minutes long:
90 min * 1trillion = 90000000000000 min
90000000000000 min / 60 = 1500000000000 hours
1500000000000 hours / 24 = 62500000000 days
62500000000 days / 365 = 171 million years
The first humans appeared around 6 million years ago. So to answer your question, no Tobi there haven't been more than a trillion football games played.

for real
the idea that 2 crazy moments in baseball weren't on here in favor of these ones is crazy the randy Johnson hitting a bird while pitching and Jose Canseco having a ball bounce off his head is one those crazy percentage plays
And the one where billy hamilton juked the 1st baseman or the one where the mets guy caught that bat that was flying at him
don't forget javy baez crazy play against the Pirates last year.
Yessir Winnipeg made it into the sidemen
If we're looking at 90 minute games accounting for one game of football and assuming that there are 10 games happening at every moment, there would be 160 games played every 24 hours. Over 1 year, that would be 58,400 games per year. That would mean it would take 17,123,287 years for a trillion games to be played. Congrats on the 20 quid Harry
There’s way more than 10 games of football being played at any moment. I don’t think there’s been anywhere close to a trillion but there’s been a lot more than what you are suggesting
@@LevatekGaming you could put it at 10,000 games at any moment and it would still be 17,000 years before you hit a trillion. Nuts how much a trillion actually is
@@varunatic1832 a quick google search said there are about 275 million people play football at any level (so even including juniors etc). So if they play 1 game a day (lets count training games into it), there would be 12.5 million games a day. Which only take about 219 years to get 1 trillion games. Although this assumption is somewhat a higher upperbound, it's still a lot more than what you are suggesting
@@NoryLevi It will definitely be higher than the other commenter, but I think yours would still be way above a plausible upper bound.
"Play football" could include people who play once a year with some mates in the summer, or even just people who kick a ball around on astro with some mates. Even assuming those people average 1 game a week would probably be a bit unlikely, depending on how the 275 million was originally calculated

It's so funny watching the boys try to figure out baseball.
In american football, they go far wide because just touching the orange pylon with the ball counts as a touchdown. So it helps with trying to reduce the risk of being hit as much as possible while still scoring (especially for the quarterback)
6:56 that is actually where umpires keep baseballs, so it's even more ironic that it landed in there 🤣
