My wife and I have been to Costa Rica 3 times and we are in love with that country. We bought a small apartment in Playas del Coco del 2020 but because of the covid we still couldn't go back to Costa Rica and we miss it so much. Thanks to your videos we can live it from Italy too.

Aww!! Thanks so much!!❤️ I would love to upload weekly and hope to some time in the future! I am currently launching a business with my brother and mom, so I have been really putting a ton of energy with that and haven’t had as much for the videos. Right now I post every 2 weeks though❤️ also, stay tuned for future updates with the business! I will be talking about it on my UA-cam channel very soon!

Zoe!! Oh, man, I can barely watch this! Missing my beloved Costa Rica so much. Yet, I am really glad to reminisce with your excellent footage. I know that beautiful friend,Nina, you had brunch with! She’s such a lovely woman. I adore Tamarindo! Playa Guiones is my most favorite beach in the world, La Luna is such a sweet spot to spend time and simply chill with good food. I miss it all, the beetles, the ocean, ATV’ing everywhere I need to go. I will be back there ASAP! Your videos continue to be excellent. And yes!! God is good. So good Costa Rica is His masterpiece.

those beetles show mostly May every year and they are responsible for the pollination of the plants, flowers they are very important in preserving the cycle of nature, as I understand

"EL TEMPORAL DE LOS AVEJONES" (Beetle season) is when swarms of beetles descend on peoples' houses, for no apparent reason. We had them in San Ramon as well. No harm - just annoying !
LOL! I didn't realize there was a specific season for this! Yes, they seem to swarm our house just for fun! LOL, CR isn't CR without the insects!
@@zoewilliamson_costarica Yupp, los abejones come out around may-april every single year, they fly a lot and use the stars and the moon to guide themselves and thats why they dumbfly in the urban zones since all the lights confuse them, in the beetle form they only live for 15 days and they swarm around to mate and die. I always found them cute, but my female friends scream and freak out a lot when they land on their hair, crack me up every time.
But the thing you showed at 17:58 is in fact, a blaberus giganteus, a giant cockroach, they are harmless and live in the forest, no need to kill them, you can just set them free out of your house and they will be on their way.
Nice vid. That last insect IS a flying cockroach. Blaberus Giganteus. It's among the largest species of cockroaches out there.

why the video is only at 720p not even 1080 or more?
Not even sure what that even means! I get to check into that. Is this referring to the resolution/ quality of the video? Does it look blurry?
@@zoewilliamson_costarica yes about the resolution of the video higher numbers higher quality... maximum on your video is 720p which is low nowadays it should be at least in 1080p (full HD)
