I still collect japanese videogames form the 80's and 90's and when you compare the japanese used quality to the western world...its laughable. Haha we really lack discipline it seems.
Please try the final E5000, final have usually been known for their mids and treble detail with their ba models but the e series were a new thing for them with single dynamic. E5000 is warm, more on the relaxed than detailed side and is power hungry but is a very solid performer.
@@leoyu1070 I strongly disagree. E5000 has more bass than B1 and is much more musical. I had B1 and it was very sibilant. Matter of taste at the end. B1 is way overpriced I think.
The first iem I really liked was the Final Audio E3000. The only real complaint was the tendency for the cable to pull them down and out due to the long thin design. A very decent IEM for the money though. Nice soundstage a good frequency response curve.
Bad Guy Good Audio Reviews the white gloves add sophistication, class all while mopping up those damn prints! I'm usually just gripping microfiber clothes- not as much class... 😂
A8000 transparency aimed, with Japanese female voice emphasis and hot treble. Luna is better setup for most people. More forgiving. So different target audience. Both are great if relevant to what you listen too.
The A8000 work amazing with my Chord Hugo 2. Voices sound best from it. Bass is nice. Oddly they are not more fatiguing in the treble from the Hugo 2. Good synergy. My EJ07 has a much better balance of impact bass to subbass. The bass never rumbles/distorts in the EJ07 like the A8000 does, and yet somehow the EJ07 is more satisfying for EDM. Both have good voices, but the A8000 is a step forward as is the Japanese jpop female preference. Also not as harsh treble in the EJ07. Also there is a sense of air in the Soundstage that is nice. The post 10kHz extension from the electrets is noticeable when compatrd over the dark cavern feeling of the A8000. The A8000 play an amazing role for heavy metal music.
I have a chance to talk with a Final representative before. The concept of A8000 is "Transparency" which bring out all the details and instrument separation. Final's sound tuning normally does not focus too much on bass. This brand is well known with their clarity. You can see it from the old FIBASS, Piano Forte, Heaven series. I guess the only bass heavier product from their IEM line up is E5000 which is not even like super bassy compared to the other brands. Final using Beryllium driver because it is light and fast. Therefore Beryllium driver can produce very accurate sound even it is a dynamic driver which normally does not excel with those frequencies. Personal opinion, with the adoption of Beryllium driver, A8000 has achieved extremely accurate mid and high and very natural but neutral bass which is not available in the current IEM market.
Hoping you fill your top $200 up section soon. I’m in that wheel house $200 to $500. Your opinion and the way all this stems from the Music, love it. Keep it going 👍🏼👍🏼
yo BGGAR, I really like your reviews, right now I have a TSMR 3 Pro cause of your review but I want an upgrade, I’m thinking Moondrop S8 or the Fearless Audio S8f/S8z, what should I get?
Hey bad guy, since you live in Japan (so as I) could you review the Unique Melody lineup (Mason, Macbeth, Mavis etc). I think they have a very "unique" sound signature that aren't necessarily accurate sounding, but are sweet as hell. Ps. loving the content!( ≧∀≦)ノ
@@BadGuyGoodAudioReviews I own the Macbeth and Mavis ii btw. The macbeth are an interesting case where the first gen sounds way better than the latter two. Might be interesting to compare them on your next trip to e earphones. (^^)d
I would love to hear your opinion on one of my favorite budget IEM, the Final E3000 :) I think it would be a great contender in the budget category with its 50 USD price. It is so good that I rather listen to that than my IER-M9 which is 20 times the price.... It also beats BLON (for me at least). Thank you for your impressions on A8000!
You really need to take a listen to the Periodic Audio Beryllium drivers. They use a beryllium foil diaphragm and will change your opinion on bass. You can check out Crinnacles review of them to pique your interest, but they are incredible for the price if you can get into the sound signature. They also regularly do sales dropping it into the $200 range. The company head Dan is also an awesome guy to talk to, and really cares about their products.
Great 1st impressions. It sounds as if they are tuned for the Asian market really. You find that type of EQ when you listen to XRCD mastered CDs (I have many). Curiously not when they master SACDs in Japan, their sound is quite neutral... Go and figure!
Dude I've tried not being a bass head but it's not worked. I bought those audiosense aq3 and love the bass. I think they lack mids a bit though, do you know of an upgrade without spending loads. I am completely happy with the Sony ier z1r for home use
@@s7robe297 I burned them in for 120 hours before even listening. I then listended to them for 3 months straight out of a multitude of daps. First impressions turned out as I thought it would. Thanks for that. OT: I can really advise you to get your hands on the Oriveti OH500, chi-fi mastered by this pretty discrete manufacturer. 1DD/4BA, with a slightly L-signature. Impactful bass, neutral mids with clarity but with flesh to them, slightly rolled-off treble but details are all there. A very strong offering at USD 499.-.
