This is my brother Brad. After he won the money he took his dear friend Janice to Europe where he had served a mission for our church. In 1995 he died in a river accident at a family reunion. It was wonderful to see this as no one in my family has a copy of this. Thank you for sharing.
Very sorry to hear that, please accept my condolences. Brad was certainly a delightful contestant. I loved after the bonus win when he narrated his reaction: "I'm excited."
I watched this version of NOW YOU SEE IT when it aired back in 1989! My favorite part of the show was the set and how the rings rose up at the opening and for each stage of the game!
Thanks for posting. KHOU (Houston) passed on this show, so on good weather days, I'd catch it on KBTX-3 (Bryan College Station), otherwise, I'd settle for Classic Concentration.
I saw this game when it was on the air when I was about 5 and I never saw a winner until 25 years later. Well, better late than never and just think, for a minute there, Brad almost didn't make it.
@LittleRockElevatorsNBC was supposed to purchase this version from CBS,but they never did. In 1994,Westinghouse was in the process of buying/merging with CBS and certain assets and there was a trading/selling game between NBC and CBS going on because FOX was buying up many CBS affiliates.
Here's ten more clues for the bonus round (see if nayone can get them) 1) Popular cartoon character Flinstone 2) One of the "stooges" 3) Steak Tartare is served this way 4) A deadly disease 5) Arthur Feedler had a famous one 6) 38th President of the United States 7) Narrow waterway 8) In song, a drink of jam and bread 9) A home for many animals 10) Term coined by Freud.

I concur, although I thought Chuck was okay. Would have loved to seen the other Chuck (not Barris), but Chuck Woolery since I associate him with word games (Wheel, Scrabble & Lingo).

Anyone else still hear the clock ticking while Chuck talks with Paul?
Yeah... what was up with that?
I heard the clock ticking too

6:29, very reminiscent of Match Game.
Why wasn't Quincy Jones credited in the credits since HE conducted the music 'Chump Change'?
Robert Lopresti That’s a very good question
And now Quincy Jones just passed away. He will be missed.
"The 'New' Wheel of Fortune" would later take over for "Now You See It" and inherit the 'BUZZ BUZZ' sound as their 'time's up' in their bonus game.
+Robert Lopresti and that same sound effect would also later carry over to Wheel's toss-up puzzles as well
Sorry about your brother he looked so cool and calm and relaxed until he won that amount of money but again so sorry for the loss of your brother
I say he was calm for a guy who just won $50,000. I'd be running all around the set screaming my head off.
Thank you. He was a cheerful, caring man and quite a funny guy. We miss him every day. Thank you for your kind words.
Came back from almost nothing with the last 3 answers just in time!
Brad kept the Question card.
Anybody else love the irony that the cue cards were held by Patty Enright? (it may be no relation, but it's still funny to contemplate)
I believe $50,000 was the most CBS Daytime gave out, until Pay the Rent debuted on TPIR
Unless you don't count the $100,000 Pyramid
Which was syndicated.
Lest we forget the $110,237 one day winnings on Press Your Luck for Michael Larson.
That was during the $25,000 limit era.
@@kidfrombrooklyn66 I think the contestant could take home the whole amount above $25k, whereas ABC and their $75k limit you only kept the $75k.
Brad reminds me of Fred Willard.
This is a NBC version of this classic game show.

Aaron Ladner Cindy Crawford.
this episode never aired since CBS would never shell out $50,000 for a bonus games, besides Mark Goodson would be pissed if this ever happened
JEM Queen who says it didn't air...the competition Nbc had $55000..end game ..why not Cbs?
They stopped the $50,000 limit years ago, when this show aired.
It was $75,000 at the time, with the cap at 100k.
As of the 1986-87 daytime season
I believe it did air
Oh, Chuck don't feel bad for Paul, he already won $32,000 on "another game show".
Dad no no no yes
That's five time 1986 J! champion and TofC finalist Paul Rouffa in the beginning of the clip, who lost the solo game to Brad.
This aired on I think June 6th.
Bill Rafferty, Marc Summers, or Bob Goen could've done a better hosting job and John Harlan would've been a better choice in announcing.
I concur, although I thought Chuck was okay. Would have loved to seen the other Chuck (not Barris), but Chuck Woolery since I associate him with word games (Wheel, Scrabble & Lingo).
Chuck Henry does not want this gig to see the light of day. Will never be rerun on GSN. Probably hates that episodes show up here, 28 years later.
Chuck's better off at his current position: 6:00 & 11:00pm co-anchor (alongside vet Colleen Williams) on KNBC's "NBC 4 News".
Will Mack Chuck Woolery wouldn't have been available. He was still doing Scrabble on NBC.
