I actually bought this car from Miguel a week ago! The SC430 was well ahead of its time...just like the current LC500. Timeless. Thanks Miguel for the great buying experience...love this car!!
I bought a 2008 Lexus 430 SC 39,000 miles on it. The car was nine years old at the time and a one owner car. I bought it from the local Lexus dealer and it was just exactly what I’ve been looking for for the past six years. I’ve now on the car over five years and I have to say I’m still in love with it. just had the timing belt replaced the only big major thing I’ve had to have done to it periodic oil changes and tire rotations the car now has 57,000 miles. It’s a gem anybody thinking of buying one of these cars if you find a good one don’t hesitate This car is basically a weekend car and I’m the only one that drives it. I have to say it’s a dream come true Larry.
@ The timing belt wasn’t cheap. I took it to a Northern California Lexus dealer and it was about $1700 and change. I called a couple Lexus dealers and they were all about the same price. I was very surprised when the Lexus dealer had no recommendations of any new work to be done. Because they tried to sell you everything and they didn’t the car didn’t need anything that’s the only thing bad about going to the dealership.
Fell in love with Lexus models when I first purchase the GS300. I've stuck with the IS300 and knowing I would not do my dream car just yet. The LC500, I know the SC430 is my next purchase. Looking to do a iridescence white, I'd have to get a double din. My IS300 still has the original deck and 200k miles it's an 2004 and amazing condition. I think the shop did modify the front end. But all in all still great. Whoever purchased this was lucky! I will for sure be printing the check list for me and the women I work with, most dealer who are not reputable see a lady and see $$, a scammers dream Great video thank you!
Ah, the infamous sc430! I love this car....I've had one for almost 4 years now. Such a unique car thats built like a tank. I hope it sky rockets in value very soon!!
Miguel, I know this is the internet and it has to be entertaining but there's half of a meter difference between the length of an MX-5 NC and the SC430. That's the difference between a city car like a Volkwagen Polo and a Skoda Octavia. Otherwise, great review, I enjoyed it.
You have to purchase it separately, but there is a slot for it horizontal between the tail lights. Comes with run flat tires, but I wouldn't go anywhere without my spare. 😅
Lexus sell you an emergency wheel ; I detest the idea of putting foam into an already ruined tyre . You can also get a "carpet" covered spare wheel cover to match the interior . Looks very smart .
Owning almost every year sc430 including Pebble Beach editions, you’re talking about normal wear and tear and maintenance on this car. You expect that with any car. You basically have no idea what to look for when purchasing these cars.
@@Miguelsgarage of all the possibles / probables , just make sure the timing belt has been done - if that goes out , it usually mullers your engine ...

I'm so glad you love it! 🤩 I'm happy it's in good hands!
I have a 2004 Pebble Beach, 23k miles inherited from my grandfather. Garaged it's whole life. I love it!
Awesome video and review, I will definitely miss this convertible. I'm sure the new owner will enjoy this ride. Great vehicle with Lexus reliability.

How much was the timing belt repair?

The SC430 is a great car, you’re going to love it! I REALLY REALLY like the LC500.
I just purchased mine about 3 months ago, same exterior smokey grey mica, but mine has the camel interior. Absolutely gorgeous car. 🔥🔥🔥
Camel interior is so nice! I've always loved that color combo!
Beautiful wood trim in this luxury car the cup holders are so cool it's like a work of art
It’s one of the coolest features, isn’t it?
A work of art, maybe but definitely pretty useless. I own a 2004.
Mine has the maple wood accents. The drive makes you feel like a million bucks. It’s a fabulous weekend car.
They really are!! How long have you had it and any issues with it?

They're great cars! What year do you have? Any issues with it so far?
Have a silver 2005, no issues. I've had the brakes done, and the timing belt/water pump replaced!

That's why I said almost... :D Thanks for checking out the video. I really appreciate it!
Does it have spare tire stored in the trunk?

@ I don't like run flat tire. They don't last.
That... and they completely change the ride...
