Did the lil black dog insist on running ahead?? A beautiful step back in time. I wish I could have interpreted what she was saying about the sediment at the bottom of the wine bottle. I made my grandfathers recipe for red wine back in 1986? and we moved so much that it was packed in a box for 3 years before I found it and it had gone from red to blush colored with this sediment at the bottom. I called my grandfather to come taste. It was very potent. He had cancer but they got him there. He smiled, he could not talk much anymore. He died the next few months. I still have the recipe written in his hand and the contraption he made from pill bottles and fish tank tubing to let the wine breath while it was coming to be.
