i love rhett’s feuds, because he gets such a kick out of it, and also, he NEVER backs down about it. he’ll apologize but then immediately say something to reignite it 😂
Dude, idk how long it takes you to do the digging for these, or how you even do it, but these videos are so great. There’s been so many recurring jokes, bits, concepts, etc. in GMM over the years but whenever I want to go back and watch something I feel like I can never find stuff because there are so many eps lol. Also appreciate your editing, nothing gets by you.
I gotta say, though, people not liking the garbage plate is such a small problem compared to the number of fires and murders and the lack of school funding.
I've been watching this show since 2016 and Mr. Giz is easily one of my favorite moments. When I first watched, I read it before they did and my brain went to the exact same place.
I'm from Rochester and I believe that a garbage plate should only be eaten after at least 3 alcoholic beverages, and the whole thing should be eaten in one sitting, which should be nearly impossible. Also, you have to get a good one. The one Rhett had looked like vomit tbh
The community college thing hit different now. Because RT’s and RN’s (especially RT’s) were so essential during the pandemic and saving LIVES. Like idk if he’s joking or not. So those that chose not to rack up tremendous debt or may not have the grades for a university straight out don’t deserve an option for furthering their education? Kinda odd . I always feel uncomfortable when he brings it up. But I love the show just the same. ❤
i think its one of those things that have just been imbued in many students in the USA, especially people who are quite a few years out from their formal education. North american high schools also commonly get payouts for getting students into UC A-G or 4 year colleges! our schools drill into you that a four year college is the only way to be successful and if you go to community college you may as well have not gone at all. while thats totally not the case, and is a pretty classist way to see things, its totally the way they were spelling out the future to young people for a long time. i blame him and i dont blame him at the same time for having such a weirdly strong conviction about community college lol
Community college is better in everyway for your general Education. University cost wayyyy more money, is way harder for no reason. The only perk of university is the “experience”. Spend two years at community college for free/getting paid to go…an go to college towns on weekends to get your partying in.
Part of the brainwashing that 4-year institutions are the "higher-quality education" when community college is a way better education on average than the universities in the U.S.
I think it's status and the fact that you can only get a 2 year degree at a community college vs a 4 year degree at an university. But most people who go to community college usually transfer to an university anyways, and I dont think the quality of the classes you can take at a cc is significantly less than the same classes at a university, especially considering that the professors themselves usually decide how the semester will go in terms of the class anyways, and you still need a Masters degree in you field to teach at a community college.
i replied in another comment but high schools totally lie to your face and will undersell the benefits of community college because their schools get a kickback when you enter the 4 year college system.
He went to a 4 year college to not use that degree and instead make videos on the internet hating on people who went to community colleges to do some of the most important and most needed jobs like medical work and trade jobs while also saving money instead of wasting hundreds of thousands of dollars on a degree when you could go to a community college for maybe 10,000$ for the same degree or overall lowering the price by reducing the amount of years spent in a traditional college
Because those were ‘technically’ garbage plates, I want to start a conversation on what is ‘technically’ barbecue with Rhett and see how he handles it lol. I’m from the Rochester area and what they had was not a garbage plate lol.
@@lauralanthalasa7 sooo he spent all that time and money just to realize it was a waste and then switched career paths? Looks we’re right back to my original comment 🤷🏼♂️
@@miketheviking_ no? He never said it was a waste? He explained his path in detail. Looks like you don't really follow them but really want to hate without knowing bare minimum.
I always assumed she was hired for the extended GMM, and then left, when they went back to the normal version. She was great, but I feel she was more into being a restaurant chef than someone on screen - but I could be completely wrong.
Rhett's lawyer daddy paid for his four year collage degree, which he barely used, and I have absolutely seen him ask Stevie what a thimble was. The man has no room to throw shade at anyone about their higher education. I went to community collage for my undergrad. I spent less money on my WHOLE degree than the cost of a new Mazda suv, I make 80K a year, and I *DO* know what a thimble is.
@lois gages Ah, but I know what a thimble is. All I'm saying is, if your dad paid for your school, you shouldn't throw shade at people for doing what they can. Look, I love Rhett, but I don't love everything he's ever said. And if he sees my comment and cries, he can dry his eyes with all the money he's made that has nothing to do with his degree (which prob cost 100k and he still got fired from his job).
i love rhett’s feuds, because he gets such a kick out of it, and also, he NEVER backs down about it. he’ll apologize but then immediately say something to reignite it 😂
I read "i love rhett’s feuds" as i love rhett's fetus :I i was quite confused and also quite curious x3
4:44 I like how Link subtly signals at Rhett to not make any jokes that time because of the sad story.
Oh yeah, he gives him a wee headshake before sipping water. I didn’t notice at first.
5:45 Nicole’s comeback here is perfect

I went to my city’s local community college for an undisclosed number of years, and it absolutely was one of the learning institutions I’ve attended
Judging by the show Community, I presume you were there for 6 years in total.
@@gligarguy4010 Only 5 if you don’t count the gas leak year (the year I spent huffing nitrous).

I live outside of Rochester but frequent often, agreed. I love Rochester though lol.
"they have mouths to feed but do not feed those mouths with ham garbage plates"
Why is that so funny it's such a random sentence
I want a compilation of link saying boobaloobaloobies. He says it with relative frequency and it kills me every time
I feel like a lore book for this show would be so dope, like so many long running storylines most newer viewers have no idea about 😂
As an Arizona State alum who now works at a community college district, I feel like Rhett is personally attacking me 🤣
I'm a community college graduate from the Rochester area... so I've been attacked so many ways by Rhett

Some random stranger from Rochester saved my live 10 years ago, i love Rochester sooooo much.
The funny thing is, I'm watching this while procrastinating on my community college homework... anyways....
As a community college graduate/ Berkeley transfer I can’t believe how deep people take this lmao
Hey, 2 years of cosmetology school? That’s only 1 1/5 years more of a police academy so. Nice
Damn as a community college grad from the Rochester area, Rhett hates me. But he should try a real garbage plate.
as someone currently attending community college in rochester, this felt personal
how did you graduate community college? it's not 4 year
@@wellsborie6897 easy, in 2 years. Just an associates degree

"MISTER JIZZ?"
is it sped up?? im high and im convinced its sped up. help
forgive my dumbness but why do people rip the ass out of community college? i genuinely don't know why
Same here. I go to a community college because unlike some people, I can't afford to go to a 4-year university, even though I graduated with 3.9 GPA.

why do the clips seem ever so slihghlty sped up? it's throwing me off
They were flash backs to other episodes
