And all that with Lisa would now be classed as coercive domestic abuse. Because he used to mentally grind her down which lead to her mental health problems. He didn't allow her to go out or nothing at one stage, used to criticize how she looked. These days in soaps he would've of got his punishment and written out the show. I thought Steve Mcfadden played the villainous phil really well. You do kind of understand why phil's personality does change during the early 2000s.
