We just discovered your channel through this video. Very nice! We are keeping a list of places we want to see when we retire in a few years and added The Flume to our list. Prior to your video, we had never heard of it. So, thanks for sharing! - Randy from The Traveling Kites
Seems like every white mountain hikers earliest memory of the park comes from the gorge haha my boy loved it and has gone on to hike a half dozen of the 4000 footers now! Anyway, thanks for sharing!
Thanks. It’s beautiful!! We have an area in southeast Ohio, collectively called Old Man’s Cave/Cedar Falls/Ash Cave that is very similar, not quite as epic.
6:40 Yeah, that's MY kinda girl --- someone with a bit of spunky adventurous spirit in her! Rock/tree-climbing tomboys are my favorite type of lady to befriend. :)
It may depend on whether you have an "America The Beautiful" lifetime park pass (I am a disabled guy on SSI and Food Stamps, and so I was able to get a pass-card from the clerk at the Schoodic visitor's center with no problem; I just showed her my eligibility letter from Social Security.). Getting into FNSP itself is free with the card, but there may be a separate admission-fee for The Flume; it also may depend on whether you just walk the trails or take the shuttle bus. You'd need to email the park association or ask at the time to find out.
@William W. Campbell-Shepherd IX LOL You mean that those areas were great places to pick up cutie-chick peaceful-countryside-lovers to go for nature-strolls wif you? :D

Beautiful New Hampshire. Hiked these trails in 1988
Mmmmm... somebody obviously loves mossy rocks/roots and sun-dappled forest-floors, the same as I do. :D
Childhood memories, it's been some time last I was there. I'm in Tennessee now, but I tell people here to go there.

I used to go to Franconia Notch every summer with my parents for vacation. The Flume is wonderful

This place looks like it's lifted from the pages of a fairy tale.

Good thing thats not here in florida, because it would be littered with cigarette butts, and plastic bottles .😅
I think Florida is cleaner than New York.
