Wow I have a WRRS Mechanical bell that has that same high pitched gong! They are actually pretty rare.

They unfortunately updated the crossing with a gs type 3, cantilevers, and the remaining mechanical bell only rings from startup, until the gates lower. The gs type 3 rings until the gates begin to rise.
