I know y’all were focused on Alabama but mosey on over to the Florida Panhandle and Ck out Topsail Hill SP, Henderson Beach SP, Grayton Beach SP. It’ll blow your mind
Moved to Alabama in 1999 from Washington State. Alabama has so much to offer, everyone is so nice and very accepting. Love it here! We are part time RVers and we take full advantage of the state. Heading to GSP in September... again!
Thank you, MJ, Izzy and Jason, for bringing us all along on your trip! What a phenomenal campground, I have never seen anything like it, WOW! There is a campground in Alabama you may not have heard of before, run by another UA-camr, the "RV Odd Couple", called Thunder Canyon, located in Ider, AL, which is in the northeast corner. It's an older campground that they acquired about a year ago. They have been working on upgrading it. It's a more natural setting but it is absolutely gorgeous. Safe travels.
We are so glad you liked our state of Alabama. We also love Gulf State Park and have camped there many times over the years. Next time visit the north part of the state and stay at Guntersville State Park on Lake Guntersville. And Desoto State Park which has a great wild flower hike in the spring and close to Little River Canyon. We have so many beautiful lakes in our state. Also visit Wind Creek State Park (southeast Alabama on Lake Martin) which has a beach area on the lake, movies under the stars, miniature golf. I could go on and on but won't. Stay safe and keep traveling.
You're a baaaaaad boy! LOL In the 80s I had a similar experience in SC. A semi had just gone by me and blew my doors off. I mean he was flying, and was out of sight in no time. I was running ten over and I killed the cruise control when I saw "Reduced Speed Ahead" signs approaching a town. While coasting down a local Sheriff pulled me over. It was the stereotypical, "Where's the fire, son?!". I kept my cool during the butt chewing, and he let me go. No big deal and I still laugh about it.
I spent a very surprising 10 days in Alabama playing golf on the Robert Trent Jones Trail . I don’t know what I expected but I started at the north end and ended up in Mobile. The people, the accommodations and the golf courses were some of the nicest I have ever experienced. I went during the month of September so had much better weather but what a fabulous state!
@@jaya.0069 I was raised in NJ and have lived in California for a very long time and I have repeated this comment to so many people. I absolutely loved Alabama ❤️
Southerners say American by birth but southern by the grace of God😂. So glad you enjoyed your time regardless of the rookie situation with your rogue tire
My personal rule is overnight before I claim a country or state. Glad you felt welcome in our State! Keep telling people how “terrible” the weather is, helps keep some RV spots for us🤣🤣🇺🇸
I was born in Fairhope in 1950 and always call Alabama home! I’ve traveled and full-timed as far north as upstate NY, as far west as Idaho and Nevada, wintered in the high desert of western Colorado, in a Georgetown class A, tent camped at the Colorado monument and the four corners at the foot of the San Juan mountains, and all along the Gulf coast from TX to central Florida. I have never been anywhere that I failed to meet wonderful people...just like you! Thanks for your enjoyable view of my home turf. Hope to meet y’all along the way! God bless you all!
Alabama is gorgeous! We’ve visited there a few times. Did you know that in the US, Mardi Gras actually started in Mobile, Alabama? We are in south Mississippi and have an rv base camp on 9 acres and are within an hour of the gulf coast. We are 10-15 min from the nearest town but the trade off is minimal traffic, clearest skies with no light pollution and room for family and friends to camp. The casitas y’all showed were really nice. Hope you can find your special place soon!
I’ve lived in Alabama my whole life. What I love the most is the incredible biodiversity and geography here. It’s a nature lover’s dream. I live in the B’ham area. Born in Huntsville. Fave campground is Desoto SP. Fave hike: Sipsey Wilderness/Bankhead. Fave lake: Lewis Smith. Aside from nature, you really need to tailgate/experience an Auburn football game at Jordan Hare Stadium. The RVs start rolling into town on Thursdays in the fall. WAR EAGLE. (Ok even that “other school” is worth experiencing) ;)
I would highly recommend Gulf State Park. We stayed last year and have a week reserved for October this year. We love it! Full hook ups, nice sites, lots of walking/biking trails, very nice pool with a splash pad, dog park and restaurant on site with music on weekends and outdoor games. Dedicated walkway over the main road to beach access. Very reasonably priced as well It's definitely one of our favorite parks!
We are from Al, Birmingham area. Our daughter went to college (2 years) down in Bay Minette, (Live Oak Landing in Stockton, AL is so nice quite and has water access for boats and fishing) so we have stayed in several spots down that way. We LOVE the Gulf Shores campground. Next trip down we plan to be on the bay side (praying). Love, Johnny's RV Park and Anchors Away also. Both are closer to the outlet shops. My daughter is now in WV (still in college) so we are finding some campgrounds up there. She is in the Charleston area so their camp grounds are not easy to find. But they have some AWESOME trails. If anyone out there has some suggests for there we would LOVE to check them out. Thank you Endless RVing for the awesome review of our AWESOME state!! ROLL TIDE ROLL Stay safe and enjoy the life our awesome God has given us each and everyday!k
I agree! Jason has good taste. I was so jealous seeing the Biscuits and Gravy that Jason was having for breakfast! I love Southern comfort food. So good!
We are part of the no snap pad group LOL!!! Note to self, Gulf State Park. We consider staying at least one night map worthy. If Buena Vista Resort allowed 5th wheels we would be in for sure, we are sort of looking for something like that for our needs. Well wants.
Totally agree that the people of Alabama are very friendly! I love my snap pads, talked two friends into getting them too. Even LCI hydraulic techs told me to get them. You need to visit Mississippi it is beautiful. You also need to get to Kentucky, do the bourbon trail! Jersey plates on a mustang, screams traffic stop!
Yes we are from Alabama you need to visit Guntersville state park..and Gunter Hill COE in Montgomery...we have been to both...now we want to go down to gulf park..
In order to add a State sticker --- Wife and I must spend the night in the State together. Additionally, it cant be in transit - just stopping for the night while heading to another location.
Hey, you're in my neck of the woods. Our cops are diligent. WE love them. They have to stay tight on the beach. So many outsiders there. Please don't let it keep you from Alabama. It is a beautiful state with wonderful people.
Thank you for the positive light you brought to our little corner of the world here on the Gulf Coast. My wife and I moved to Mobile 36 years ago from Birmingham. The "Gulf" is so different than the rest of the State(s). Mostly as you may have noticed, we are truly an international community, and have been for over 300 years. Thus, some of the notable tensions that exists in many parts, do not exist here. Tiny fact: There are more NFL and MLB players from the Gulf Coast (Bay Sty. Louis, MS to Destin, FL ie "the 51st State and how business flows here) than any other region of the country. You went running during "mild summer weather". Monitor the weather next month and work out in full pads or run wearing a sweat suit in it. THAT is why I think so many great players come from here. If you can survive working out here, you will thrive anywhere else. While in Fairhope, you were just a few miles from the best sports medical center in America in Daphne. Should have taken the son there, he might have come out the door doing cart wheels:) If you are seriously considering moving here upon retirement, I can't discourage you though I should;) The joke for years has been when an elderly person dies in Michigan, they have to call Gulf Shores to get pallbearers! And yes, by all means stay at the Gulf State park campground sometime. We practically raised our kids in that campground though we rarely go there now due to over crowding in the area, especially during July 4th. Then again my original reference point is early 1970s when there was no Orange Beach and Gulf Shores had 5 motels, 1 amusement /putt putt golf / go cart facility, 2 restaurants, the Hang Out and Pink Pony Pub. We had it to ourselves in those days, but can't keep a good place like here a secret forever.
We have stayed at gulf states park many times. Even spent thanksgiving with our family in multiple rvs there. We are from Mississippi, but are down this week at Bella terra in foley AL, just right down the road from you guys. Enjoy the rain this morning lol
This looks like an awesome spot to camp while visiting the Alabama Gulf Coast. We normally stay at Gulf State Park and love it. We actually just love the entire area lol.
The rookie Officer must had his FTO with him. Awesome he gave a warning. Years ago here in East Texas. I got pulled over for hardly touching the white shoulder line smh but I didn't get a warning smh. Great video. Get well soon Jason.
Yup, NJ plates! I “retired” my NY plates 7 years ago and traded them in for FL plates. I always follow traffic rules, and drive with a dash cam, but those FL plates sure make me feel at ease, just about everywhere I travel!
We lived on the north side of the Tennessee River in a small town on the side of the river. Close to Florence Al. Nice campground at Joe Wheeler State Park on Lake Wheeler. Also over east close to Guntersville is also nice. Great fishing and people.
Hey guys, just watched your video on Orange Beach. We have to agree. We love it down there. We live in Tennessee and vacation down there every year. We stay at Lake Osprey RV Resort. Motor homes and 5th wheels. I think we were there the same time you were, 4th of July.
Gulf shores state park is wonderful, enormous bike trails that are paved, large camp sites, large pool. Only down side is it’s hard to find camping here, but often when you do you will have to change sites often. We. Will have to try out the resort you are at. The Deep South has brutal heat. Fall and spring is more like your summer. I live in state y’all mentioned is next door.
When you come back to OB, try Cosmo’s restaurant. If you like shellfish, go to Lartigue’s and get them to steam you some Royal Reds-deep water shrimp that tastes like lobster. When I’m down that way, I detour over to Bon Secour. That’s where the shrimp boats come in. Couple of good markets there w good prices.
I have a lot of family thruout Alabama. Its a beautiful state with a lot to offer. The mountains in the north, the lakes in the hilly central part, to the Gulf beaches of. The southern shores.
Greetings from an Alabama resident. Glad you guys could come “Down Home” If you don’t know where that comes from check “Alabama” out. It’s certainly hot here but as you guys found out we the people of this state for the most part are kind and welcoming. Come back anytime.
Wonderful video! I could tell how much fun you were having and how happy you were to be there. I'm not from Alabama (I'm from Texas) but without exception, every single person I've met from Alabama has been lovely. We travel to Florida each summer, and we love the time we spend going through Alabama. Maybe you'll end up there. 🤔 But you better be okay with heat and humidity! 😂 Thanks guys!
State park cg's here in Alabama are best we have seen. Sites are very large and most have foliage in between for privacy. Our favorites are DeSoto and Monte Sano.
My dad is a retired deputy in Alabama and even he is pissed there is no longer professional courtesy. Most agencies, at least in our area of Alabama, are trying to herd out the old heads to make way for the younger generation. Hope y'all enjoyed our beautiful beaches. Love the channel 👍
I pass through Troy and Dothan Alabama on my way to Florida and have found the people to be very nice. I love Daupin Island and have camped there a couple of times. The RV park (Dauphin Island Campground) is more like a state park size wise and rustic. Just a short hike from your RV down a shaded trail and you’re on the beach. Beautiful area that you might want to check out!
You were in our backyard! We live 12 miles from Gulf State Park and we stay there all the time, anytime we just want to get out of the house but still need to work. We love it there especially in the fall
Loved the video. Thank goodness Izzy you got a warning from the rookie and I dud not like the looks of that gator that was following you around. Loved this resort you were at. Much better than a hotel. By far. I loved the birthday cake ice cream desert thing Jason had and loved what you had too MJ. Didn’t see what Izzy had. But sure his was good too. Love smoothies. How was the Chinese buffet. I never been to one. But sounds good. Glad you had a great time. Hope Jason’s arm is doing better. I’m praying it does. Will you keep us informed how he is doing? Thank you fir this video and safe travels. Have a great day!
I'm from the Savannah , Ga area. I lived in Alabaster , Alabama for 3 years. It's on the outskirts of Birmingham. The state is beautiful ! It gets such a bad rap though. And so glad you were treated with our warm southern hospitality!!! It's so nice to see still in these changing times in our country. 😎 Happy Travels and see ya on the next one.
If you get a chance, visit Sea and Suds in Gulf Shores just a few miles west of you. It has been there since the 1960s although rebuilt a couple of times due to storms. It was first built long before any high rises existed in that area. Houses and one story vacation hotels were all that existed.
When in Orange Beach it’s always fun to take the short drive to Pensacola and tour the Navy air museum and Joe Patti’s Seafood, has to be the longest fresh seafood markets in the US.
So glad you enjoyed visiting our state. It is Alabama the beautiful! Come back and enjoy staying at some of our state parks. Like Guntersville state park or Wind Creek state park. Both are on the water. I enjoy your videos and the content that you bring. Keep up the good work. Paige
Nice campground! I add a sticker if I do some sort of activity. So even though I didn’t stay in Ohio, I checked off Ohio because we went to the Cincinnati Zoo while camping in northern KY.
Glad you guys had a good trip to Alabama. You need to come back in the fall when it isn't as hot. You'll love it. Check out Huntsville, Birmingham, and Montgomery. Lots of good stuff to see and do. Winter down here is definitely more pleasant than New Jersey.
Hey guys we stayed at Buena Vista Motorcoach Resort last fall and it was awesome! Definitely the best camping experience we have had to date. Glad to see you guys enjoyed it as well. Thanks for the great videos and keep them coming.
Highly recommend Florence AL if you have an interest in historical music recording studios. Several preserved and some operational in Florence and the surrounding towns of Muscle Shoals, Tuscumbia, Helen Keller’s Birthplace, and Sheffield. Can’t recommend any campgrounds as we cruised there by boat.
You're in my old stomping grounds. Worked down there and we lived in Fairhope. So excited that you got to see the town. We raised two kids there. It was like living in Mayberry. The entire Baldwin County area is gorgeous and there's lots to do in Pensacola and Mobile, too. As far as the map goes...we put the state on the map if we've spent a night there. I'm hoping we can make a trip down there after the first of the year.
MJ, Izzy & Jason looks like you had an amazing time. The place looks amazing. Wish they aloud 5th wheels. Thanks for sharing you trip. Hope Jason shoulder gets better. Have a safe trip home and hope to see you on the road.
Having been a military family we have at the very least passed through almost every state with the exception of some of the center states. I guess those Cetas would work well if you were bringing more than your own family in your camper.
Sweet! We love the hot weather too!! Can’t believe ya got pulled over! It was definitely the plates ! 😆😆 were you near John and Mercedes from RV odd Couple? It’s always great to travel and meet such nice people. That makes traveling so much better. Hope Jason is feeling better.
They are NE Alabama. Another beautiful area more remote. That area is known as the foothills of Appalachia and has Little River Canyon a great kayaking destination as well as hiking and camping. Usually cooler in the upper elevations. 👍🏼
I was at the old Army base in Anniston for training one year, and everybody was extremely nice. Myself and this young Puerto Rican kid got voluntold for a weekend detail, and we had to place road guards for an annual cycling event. It was coldish and misting. He was freaking out, thought he heard banjos at every slight gust of the wind. This elderly lady (a WWII vet) stopped and asked us if we had eaten anything, and despite reassuring her that we had food coming, she drove home, heated up a couple cans of chili, and brought that and some bowls and drinks to us and sat with us to chat while we ate. She had served as a pilot in the WAC during the war, and had later worked on base for forty more years at the WAC museum. It was an honor to have met her, and be able to listen to her story. But literally everybody else down there was wonderfully nice. It's the same in the southern part of Georgia.
We have to sleep in a state. Between last year (our first) we have most of the states except great lakes to the northeast. Currently in Florida headed northish next week.
At least one night in a state to get a sticker! Been RV’ing since ‘93 and just about every state is filled. Including Alaska & Hawaii… lived both places , thanks to the US Navy!
Fairhope is awesome. Heading back down that way this winter. We wanted to stay at the Motorcoach Resort but they don’t allow access to the clubhouse for renters so we will be staying elsewhere.
Enjoyed the video. Thank you for sharing with us. We might be interested in heading there and taking the Tiki ride. We are from Louisiana so we know all about the heat!! I do have a question. Do you have a link for the US map for your RV trips. We would like to get one and yours looks really interesting. Are you concerned about the slide removing the stickers?

Check out the Lake Guntersville area in the North-Eastern part of AL (if you haven’t already). More laid back than Orange Beach, but a nice spot.

Wow. Thanks for sharing. In NY, NJ professional courtesy is always extended no matter what part of the country you are from.
Great video as usual! I immediately went to book at the resort and they only allow Class A and Super C RVs. Bummer.
Good to know. Thank you for sharing that info.
NJ Friends have a place on Weeks Bay by Fairhope.
Visit Desoto State Park. On the mountain above Fort Payne, home of the country music group Alabama. About an hour from Chattanooga, Tn.
We need to do something in a state to count it and stopping for fuel does not count.
Great video, nice RV Park. So far in 3 years I haven't never gotten pulled over, some stares and a few waves. Safe travels 😊
If you guys are still there go to Cosmos restaurant on canal road. Get the pecan encrusted redfish.
Okay that T 9 shirt was so offensive to me!! Lol beautiful spot. Thanks for sharing
😂 thanks for watching
I pass through Troy and Dothan Alabama on my way to Florida and have found the people to be very nice. I love Daupin Island and have camped there a couple of times. The RV park (Dauphin Island Campground) is more like a state park size wise and rustic. Just a short hike from your RV down a shaded trail and you’re on the beach. Beautiful area that you might want to check out!
Thank you for your great video. You made us book a site for January LOL looking so forward to it
Awesome! Enjoy.
Yeah you guys got to hit KY beautiful state...so many neat things to do & see...be sure take a Bourbon tour! Love watching such detailed videos!💜
Thanks!
You were in our backyard! We live 12 miles from Gulf State Park and we stay there all the time, anytime we just want to get out of the house but still need to work. We love it there especially in the fall
You’re so lucky lol
Chinese buffet was good! Jason is getting an MRI soon to see more of what's going on. Thanks for caring! :)
@@EndlessRVing Glad the buffet was good and no problem for caring. I love you all! I will pray for Jason.
😍
If you get a chance, visit Sea and Suds in Gulf Shores just a few miles west of you. It has been there since the 1960s although rebuilt a couple of times due to storms. It was first built long before any high rises existed in that area. Houses and one story vacation hotels were all that existed.
Nice, nice, nice! I'm really enjoying your channel. Hope you get a ton more subscribers. Sweet family. 💕
Thank you! 😍
When in Orange Beach it’s always fun to take the short drive to Pensacola and tour the Navy air museum and Joe Patti’s Seafood, has to be the longest fresh seafood markets in the US.
Yep we didn’t make it there this time. Next time!
Buena Vista is an awesome RV Resort! Going back there in November! Also great restaurants in the area!
Yes such a great area!
Wow, awesome spot
So glad you enjoyed visiting our state. It is Alabama the beautiful! Come back and enjoy staying at some of our state parks. Like Guntersville state park or Wind Creek state park. Both are on the water. I enjoy your videos and the content that you bring. Keep up the good work. Paige
Thanks!
Check out Destin Florida. It’s near Pensacola..!!
Thanks for sharing your adventure with us !! 😁😁😁
Our pleasure!
Nice campground!
I add a sticker if I do some sort of activity. So even though I didn’t stay in Ohio, I checked off Ohio because we went to the Cincinnati Zoo while camping in northern KY.
Gulf State Park is awesome! Love its paths and wildlife!
Yes it was so beautiful!
Love this episode!
Thank you!
Welcome South!
All I can say is WOW!
😁
Glad you guys had a good trip to Alabama. You need to come back in the fall when it isn't as hot. You'll love it. Check out Huntsville, Birmingham, and Montgomery. Lots of good stuff to see and do. Winter down here is definitely more pleasant than New Jersey.
We would love that!
Commenting for the algorithm.... These folks are good people👍🏼🇺🇸
Thank you. 😃
Hey guys we stayed at Buena Vista Motorcoach Resort last fall and it was awesome! Definitely the best camping experience we have had to date. Glad to see you guys enjoyed it as well. Thanks for the great videos and keep them coming.
Awesome! Yes it’s great there.
Oops forgot to say......Beautiful Rv park. And awesome tour . 😎
Thanks!
Cool. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for sharing!
Check out Lake Martin.
I believe they are very far north in AL. We were at the gulf coast
Kentucky you say? Visit Carter Caves. We made the drive down from Michigan a few years back. Great campground with awesome hiking!
Did that at John’s Pass near Clearwater, FL. Was a lot of fun, saw a lot of dolphins
Nice!
Nice change of pace video. Our family's policy on adding a state to the map was we had to overnight in that state.
Kool shirt!
At least one night in a state to get a sticker! Been RV’ing since ‘93 and just about every state is filled.
Including Alaska & Hawaii… lived both places , thanks to the US Navy!
Nice!
Our favorite resort!!
Fairhope is awesome. Heading back down that way this winter. We wanted to stay at the Motorcoach Resort but they don’t allow access to the clubhouse for renters so we will be staying elsewhere.
Buena Vista is awesome. Give them a call.
We’ve stayed at Gulf SP. We want to put snap pads on our new Dutch Star coach but haven’t been anywhere long enough to receive shipments.
You will love the Snap Pads. 👍

That is an awesome site!!!!!!!!!
