I'll try to take a look through it in the next few days. I think it is, but don't quote me on that. I did purchase them from Rainbow Resource, which I know you get a lot of your resources from. I didn't buy it for any Christian perspective, so I think it is going to be secular, but I'll double check for you. :) Did you see me mention you at the end? LOL
Wow Shannon, You're good! It took me five times re-winding it to see what you were talking about and you're right. How in the world did you see that? LOL
Wonderful video! Thank you for sharing. We'll be studying Earth Science and Astronomy next year as well. I have several of the same resources on my list too. I would love to know, in your opinion, is the solar system model kit adequate for 3 kids or do you recommend I purchase 2 or more? I have a 7th grader who should probably get her own kit. I'm thinking my 2nd and 1st grader will probably share one. I'd appreciate your thoughts. Thanks again for sharing.
We just did get them in the mail the day we filmed this, which was just a couple days ago. I haven't opened the model kit, yet. But, I will open it and let you know what I think. :) Thanks for the compliment. I love getting the feedback. I'll get back to you about the kit.
I went ahead and made a video of us taking the kit out of the box and examining the pieces. Here's the link: Solar System 3-D Model / Mobile Kit ua-cam.com/video/j_tSqXkK4PM/v-deo.html Upon re-reading your comment, I noticed you have one in 7th grade, then two little ones. A big age gap (like my kids were). Being a mom of four whose kiddos are almost all grown, I would think the 7th grader may like painting all the pieces to his/her own (if there's a problem with liking the quality of his/her smaller siblings painting job).
Teaching Astronomy through art is going on my wishlist!! Can you tell me if it's secular?

At 9:35, you can see a verse from Genesis.
Shannon thank you :)
