Pat Bev would actually make better coach than Glenn Aton Rivers at this point. only thing he had going for him was that he was a great motivator, and Tom Thibodeau coached defense. well Glenn is too old and too away from the youth to motivate anyone, and he never had any schemes outside of quick coming out of time out 1 play coaching. he is toast and so are the Bucks.

Unpopular opinion but the Bucks should have targeted another star besides Damianl Lillard. Dame wanted Miami, plus he kind of trashed the Bucks organization for firing Bud so I doubt he was too excited about coming. He doesn't have the same talent/drive he did in...Portland....lol

He’ll get them to the playoffs but the team already had the 2nd best record in the East before Glenn took over.
In the off-season Doc was available and they decided to go with someone with 0 experience as a head coach. They didn't have full confidence on him since they picked his coaching staff instead of letting him do so (as it's normally done). Yet they had more confidence in Griffin than they had on Doc.
Then after firing Griffin, Doc is suddenly the answer?
Doc's reputation was at an all time low when he couldnt make it work on the sixers, and he was actually beginning to move in a positive direction with his media career being mostly positively received and then he just said nah lemme jump off this cliff

We all know Doc. We know exactly what he brings & doesn’t bring to a team. Bad bad hiring.
I realize it's a tough read for casual Bucks fans, but having watched every minute of every game this season I can tell you the Bucks are improving under Doc. The defense is simplified and better suited to this roster, we're seeing more vet-heavy rotations which is necessary to get us cohesive before the playoffs. Remember the Bucks early schedule was the easiest in the NBA, and we weren't blowing teams out - it was taking incredible efforts to beat terrible teams. Doc came on in one of the toughest stretches in our schedule on the road, playing mostly contenders, with multiple back to backs. I'm not a huge Doc fan but I do appreciate the steps that he's already taken. Adrian Griffin was trying to put in a system that was for an entirely different roster, tough job for a rookie coach or any coach. Doc's system is starting to sink in and Pat Bev was a much better addition than it might look like on paper because of his experience with Doc and his schemas. I'm bullish on the Buck's future, Dame is going to get his stuff together and Giannis going to Giannis.

Due to injuries with multiple games without Lopez, Middleton and/or Lopez and playing 5 games in 7 days their record has been poor since Doc took over. However have improved to around top 10 on D under Doc. Much better in transition D. Unfortunately firing a coach mid season there are not great options. Ive watched nearly every bucks game this season and they do look better despite the record. Post all star break when time to get practices in and should be healthy will be a better idea of their potential

Yeah. Everyone is just piling up on doc. Same thing they did with Russ and the clippers as you said.
People keep talking about coaching, it wasn’t just the Jrue trade, it was not resigning your two best perimeter defenders in Carter and Matthews. Which really exposed Middleton who’s is not a good defensive player. People keep saying this is on Dame, but it’s not, those decisions blew a hole in the perimeter defense. Jrue covered a lot of holes in the defense and those two guys could fill also. Now you improved on offense in terms of scoring but that’s what Horst signed up for. So you got rid of your three best defensive players on the perimeter and you didn’t replace them with comparable defensive players. That’s not on Dame, so now where the coaching comes in is creating a defensive scheme that really addresses 2 positions the 2G and the 3, because these positions are so weak defensively it really compromises your defensive front line help. The problem this year is these guys get beat so fast!! The Bucks defense significantly started to slip last year, even against Miami, at one point Jimmy Butler was averaging 50ppg, on Jrue, and finished averaging 35+ in the playoffs.👀👀🤔👀👀👀 if they can address defense with the two and the three position they’re in good shape, maybe with a buy out or something of some players. Could there 0:12 be a Tucker return, he could definitely help with that three position. I like Andre Jackson if he could help, meaning, if he could improve defensively by the playoffs that would be significant. He has the athleticism. he has the heart but he’s just a rookie though. I still feel Middleton is a problem because his play has significantly dropped, he is a significant defensive liability, much more than Dame could ever be, and he’s very injury prone at this point. I still like the Dame trade because it gives them a closer at the end of games. If you kept Jrue then you’re depending on Middleton, who is not very reliable health wise at this point.

First of all we should stop accusing Giannis for Bud and Griffin. Bud was doing some ridiculous moves like not calling time outs, not allowing Giannis to guard Butler during the playoffs and he has been outcoached on many occasions because he refused to change tactics or use players he didn't approve of. Griffin on the other hand was one of the coach candidates and Giannis picked him because he looked like a decent guy, is it Giannis fault that Griffin could not handle to improve the defense, or at least improve Giannis and Dames pick an roll while losing the locker room in the process? Giannis is a champion contender, he is smart and if he realizes that you are not good enough for the job he is going to point it out. He just addressed what everyone was complaining about, the defense was getting worse and he could see that the team was going to waste another season. To be fair Doc has to pick up the pieces and everyone judges him because of his past failures but if you are not biased you already feel hope for this team

Since griffin got fired we are rank #8 in defensive rating !!! We haven’t been healthy so our offense has suffered…anyone that said la griffin deserved more chances here’s a tip for you …in the month of January MIL defensive rating was #28 of 30 teams
