Maya, I think that you struggle with finding your aesthetic because you constantly try to keep up with trends which change ever so frequently (that's what they do) instead of actually finding your own aesthetic. It doesn't have to fit into any particular category/style. If you do that, you'll be content with yourself. Don't feel pressured by society to fit yourself under a specific box, make your own :) ,

One thing I’ve noticed about eyeglasses, manufacturers have never created glasses that properly fit the noses of people of color. Yes I wear glasses myself and have gone thru who knows how many pairs trying to “mold” the bridges to my wider one. I’m like Fred Sanford now, a drawer full of old and odd glasses for specific purposes which I’m resolved to because they are expensive.
