You got my respect for the hard work you put in to complete this build! And you made my jaw drop with that demo, Michael!
Thanks so much! Hopefully if logistics gets a bit better I'll get another of your kits.
Looking good Michael!
Great refinishing job! Great demo too!
Great job. I'm looking to do the same to mine next weekend. Why not paint the back of the headstock?
very cool Michael. I think you did a great job. How long total would you say in terms of labor (not the waiting times) but you working on it, did it take? Super cool playing too!
Why not just paint over the original paint but scuffed up? Wouldn't that be nore durable as the original finish is way thicker usually? Just curious really if there was any real benefit to it. Looks great tho man, love the white.
Sorry for the delayed response. I really prefer a thin finish, especially on the neck. My biggest gripe with Epiphone is how thick the finish is, I think it makes the neck feel uncomfortable and it effects the resonance of the guitar.
i have a leo jaymez les paul and it has a really thick clear coat on the body and neck. it doesn't bother me but i can see your point.@@michaelseecy5904
Amazing work and playing!!
Thanks so much!
