I'm saying that the things they say to do that they think will fix the problem are confusing because they always contradict previous statements. If people dont agree on a solution soon, it's not gonna end well. I get what you're saying though, i think that's a good thing to do.

Notice how, when we do speak up, we get labelled as whiners and complainers? I mean it was right there in the video. The topic was brought to her attention and her response was to call men whiners and complainers unless they approach the issue the way SHE thinks they should.

Women do not want to hear about the problems men have. It really is as simple as that. According to many women, men do not have problems. As a woman, I'm telling men, just keep it to yourself when it comes to women. Talk to other men or get professional help on the down-low. Do get the help you need but keep it to yourself. Life and women are not kind to men who are getting this kind of help.

I think only celebrating one group every month is ridiculous. We should care about men’s mental health and women’s mental health every month all day every day.
It's not that we should only care about mental health or pride or Altzheimers this month, of course we should always remember those issues. The problem is that as a society, we don't. The idea is to raise awareness of those problems in particular on that month. If everyone posts about men's mental health for an entire month, the problem doesn't get ignored the way it does the rest of the year and it becomes easier to talk about the whole year. It's about coming together to amplify the signal. If the posts about mental health are instead spread over the entire year, they get swamped out by stuff like man vs bear or whatever other viral notion starts spreading.

That “save yourself” mentality is the dumbest sh*t. It’s just the bootstraps argument repackaged
While I certainly don't agree with the woman's message, save yourself isn't the dumbest message. Foster kids, despite having court appoint advocates and case workers have no choice but to save themselves.... or become a statistic (which means a life in and out of jail, on the streets, in sex work and/or addiction). Sometimes, "save yourself " is the right message, but obviously not here.
Idk who she is, I strictly follow you, Emily and Lauren for the exact reasons you mentioned. I swear, I'm about to start wearing the "pick me" label as a badge because so many of these women throw that around every time I post anything about advocating for men. And frankly, I've stopped posting about Pride. I support LGBT rights and back my friends to the end, but "Pride" is becoming an extremist activity I want no part of either.
I started wearing pick me as a badge about a year ago. It's incredibly freeing to say that yes, I can think outside of the female hive mind.
I've abandoned the LGBT though. The only way to eliminate a problematic group is to leave it. I can support equality for everyone without a group and I'm not their ally.

Men's mental health is the most overlooked , under accepted and unacknowledged situation in humanity. We expect men to buck up and " man up" when it comes to their emotions and mental health. It's a great disservice to the ones who truly keep our world goig around

As if men "choose" to be silent about their own struggles, when it's the vast majority of society that ignores their cries for help. Sometimes some men wouldn't know where to begin, and if they ask for help it is seen as them "being weak" or "not being manly enough." If we truly live in a world where men have to suffer alone, and the majority of them commit suicide, wouldn't / shouldn't there be more shelters to help men deal with their problems in a healthy and constructive manner? At the end of the day this isn't just an issue that men face, it's an issue that humanity as a whole, faces as well. You need to have the knowledge to know where to start your process of healing, you need to rely on others when needed.
June is also Heterosexual Awesomeness Month.

These "advocates" are knocking themselves down 1 by, especially when either the views/money dries up, or they get burned and take it out on their audience. But keep spreading the good word, Roma Army.
People trying to make this month a competition is wild to me. Men experience Alzheimer's. Men are gay and bi and trans. All of these things can have a negative impact on men's mental health in ways that present differently on average compared with women. There shouldn't be a conflict here because there are so many ways in which these issues intersect and awareness is necessary. Even in areas where these don't necessarily intersect - although poor mental health in youth can increase the chances of developing dementia later in life, so that intersect will always exist - there are only 12 months per year. There *has* to be overlaps if we want to dedicate certain months to awarenesses and causes, because months as we define them are a very finite resource.

As a doc, I can confirm that many of my patients mispronounce Alzheimer's "All-timers" or even "Old-timers," which, while kind of cute, drives me up the wall. No excuse for a content creator to be spewing that kinda inaccuracy, though.

So men's health month and pride can coexist. Besides gay guys need mental health advocacy, too. And this would make them our advocates when it comes to mental health because we're in the same boat. So, at the end of the day, we're all brothers even if they get to have less stressful marriages than us. I've seen the statistics while half our marriages fail they're doing a lot better and have only a like 25 percent divorce rate. Besides, I can't compete with Ricky Martin. Him not dating women actually helps me. They listen to his music and watch him dance and get all worked up and come over to me because he won't touch them, but I will. See, it's a symbiotic relationship.

If men, and I’m including myself in this, feel down enough that they’re gonna try suicide, if we feel like no one understands us, wants to go to bat for us, wants to listen without putting us down, then we’ll just go through with it because we realized that trying wasn’t worth it.

Imagine: somebody (doesn't matter who does this) beating down physically and emotionally a woman and saying said woman that she needs to help herself.

Speaking from experience when I tried to get help it never worked. My last time I went for help I was told that I would have to wait 2 months. You can go out for help but there's no guarantee that you will get it.
I think roma is the ONLY actual honey badger that's legit at this point the fact she's the ONLY one calling out female predators left and right, only other one is Candace Owens but she's on that political bash time altogether 😆
Not everybody raises awareness by posting either. Some people go into comment sections and talk about it or just do it around their local community.

I believe many descent men such as my self really would prefer to dedicate a certain event to helping both men and women together, I also suspect that something wrong is happening to descent men who would suffer from heart break or grief and guilt from women being excluded from a certain event that is dedicated to caring for the unwell who are made more unwell by the exclusion of women who are also not well.
