- Dacians vs Rome Cinematic Battle Rome 2 Total War. The Dacians are defending their land against 15 000 Romans. The 15th legion Appolinaris accompagnied by auxiliaries cross the Danube river and march toward the Carpathian mountains. Decebalus, the Dacian king, gather 27 000 brave warriors to defend their homeland. Rome faces the falx, a weapon so deadly that Roman helmets changed shape throughout the years to better protect against it.
This battle was made possible using Rome 2 Total War with the Divide et Impera mod and Roman Legions for DEI submod.
This is not a historical battle.

Но 12 тысяч солдат и 27 тысяч контролировать сложно,я 6400 воинов ели удерживаю,а тут 27 тысяч.
отчасти это ограничение игрового движка, которым я не могу управлять с таким количеством солдат

Come si fa ad avere così tante truppe su rome 2?? Inoltre, con quale mod si possono fare questo tipo di battaglie ?
Infine, come fai a mettere quello specifico tipo di armatura, scudo e il pilum?
Uso le modifiche per aumentare le dimensioni delle unità. Uso anche una modifica chiamata Divide et Impera che cambia le armature e le armi delle truppe per essere più storiche
Grazie mille per la risposta, sono a pagamento le mod ? (se non è un problema potresti dirmi il nome della mod per aumentare il numero di truppe)
Le mod sono gratuite. Sto cambiando i file ''script'' per avere più truppe. Le mod che normalmente lo fanno non funzionano.

what is the name of this historical battle? I know that Romans defeated Dacians in history. But probably you refer to the first battle of Tapae 87 AD which it had mix result for the two opponents. Because at the second battle of Tapae 101 AD, Romans won the battle. And ofcourse later at the battle of Adamclisi at the same year. That was the end of the Dacian rule at the region of today Roumania ( then it called Dacia ).
You are correct. However, I did not follow historical accuracy in this battle. I mostly wanted to show the fierce Dacian warriors in a battlefield against roman legionnaires in a cinematic format.
Actually Roman conquered only 15% of the Dacian territory but OK
