- Floating a quilt top versus loading onto longarm rails - it’s a matter of opinion!

Let’s talk about them!

I love the metal magnetic brackets. I float all the time now.
Awesome! I’m glad they’re working well for you👍🏻
Good morning Susan. Just floated a quilt top!!
I have a quilt too wide for my long arm I had one side folded in and now I’m having issues keeping the wrinkles out because it is “fatter” on the right side
Hello from central Illinois
Good morning
Love your tutorials. I'm fairly new to longarm quilting & have used many of your helpful hints.
Hello Marilynn here
Do you have any cons using the red snappers? I’m trying to decide if I want to use them instead of pins!
They are stiff when new, and always require a certain amount of hand strength, so not ideal if you have trouble gripping or applying pressure. But if that’s not a problem, they are fabulous.
Joanie from Oregon here
I have had more success floating my tops versus attaching them, thanks to listening to your tips.
Good to hear!
Quilting a quilt.
Good afternoon. Tuning in late today. I float all my quilts. I have a small quilt on the frame but struggling with tension. Ugh
The day I saw you float a top was one of the best quilting days I've ever had.
That’s awesome!!
Hello from Arizona This has been helpful
Have you already done a quilt loading video during your 30 days of these shorter videos?
I have not, but there are lots of loading examples in my live streams.
Good morning! I’m finally working on my Tula pink butterfly quilt!
Gosh i have had mine up on the design wall for a month. Gathering the courage to load it up.
Awesome! We want to see it! Post and tag me somewhere😁
