You could try trotting some lock overflows on the canals? Canals usually have good access, and if the overflows are active they provide some nice flow for trotting. Just an idea, as long as you find a way to fish thats the main thing! Static fishing with pins can still be great fun 😀 Cheers, Joel
Nice one as usual lads! Shame about the pb dace, if that's where I think it is you'll have another soon, Joel. You've inspired me to do another Well done Jamie, I'm glad you've seen the light! Im inspired to do another Dace vid 😄
Brilliant video 👍Beautifully shot and the scenery is stunning. Congratulations on the pin but be warned it's a slippery slope and if you're not careful it won't be long before you're using wooden rods...🎣🎣
First fish on a 'pin. Well done. A damn good clean and a tiny spot of oils on the spindle will probably help matters. Still don't know how you two manage with the line coming off the top of the reel though.
Cheers! I took the pin apart and did exactly what you advised since filming this session. Its now running good as new! Part 2 of this video will be out in a couple weeks. As for the line coming off the top, it took me a while to get used to that, every time I got a fish on I nearly started reeling in the wrong direction! Jamie
@@albionangling Old dried up oil and grease is much use. I've tried the line at the top thing and kept ending up with bird's nests when I batted the reel the wrong way, so gave up. Look forward to part II
Great to see a new convert. 🙂 Sort of place I'd love to use the 'pin. My mobility is crap these days though, so very much doubt I'll use it again ?.

@@soultrader57fishingandmusi25 Lets get a session pencilled in!
I'm sure that water could do a PB chub too, possibly over winter with a bit of thought.
Cheers, Joel
Superb edit mate! 👌
Love the underwater footage of the trout and very interesting sequence showing the trench that we trotted from above!
Cheers Joel, one of my favourite sessions this one! And I make it sound like I know what I'm doing ey!

@@albionangling This river deserves a dedicated Albion_Angling weekend. The perfect location for the Dace Race perhaps?

Too true mate, i keep finding reasons why I need another Pin. It never ends, an intervention may be needed before long 🙈
@@joeldixon3459 I don't think you can have too many - and I don't have a trudex yet🤣😎
@@InTheEdgeWithAlex all i'll say is that I have found the Trudex the most versatile piece in my collection... good luck in controlling the urge!
If you had unlimited funds, which pin would you add to your collection?
Cheers, joel
@@albionangling Aesthetically I'm always drawn to aerial style reels so an early Allcocks would be a nice addition 👌 You?
