- Eyepiece: a magnifying glass with a larger focal length.

The distance you can work out by determining the focal length of your either lenses, the distance would be the sum of the focal lengths of both the lenses.

My objective focal length is about 3-5mm. Eyepiece focal length is about 12-20mm. The distance between the two objectives is about 7-12cm. good luck.

The eyepiece I measure manually is about 22mm, the objective is 3-5mm, I am not sure, because I do not have a specialized measuring tool
@@MrAugban Yeah but your tube length seems longer than the sum of the focal lengths of both lenses. 22mm+5mm= 27mm which is just 2.7cm but your microscope is much longer than that?
@@balancebreaker6885 oh yes, microscope is different from telescope, if you use pvc tube whose length is equal to total focal length you will not be able to observe anything.
@@MrAugban Bro I have made the objective and the eyepiece, when I tested the magnification without the tube, the view was dark, and had less contrast.

Doesn't work. I notice some cut in your video as you put your camera in the eye piece, first ,it was the diy you made then the video suddenly turns darker as you put your phone then after that we can clearly see the onion cell where you actually used a real microscope.
