The government should be fully supporting the olympic teams and their practice venues. Plus, they should get way more money for getting a medal in the olympics and it should be non-taxable if you ask me. These people are ambassadors of the country every Summer and Winter Games and we should treat them with respect. The measly stipends they get is a joke and is not enough to live off of, especially when training to be this high-level of an athlete is very much so a full-time job. The fact is that about 99% of Olympians/athletes that are competing are not getting million dollar deals like Noah Lyles or Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone and have to have multiple jobs to feed and house themselves, which is horrible. This is why so many athletes whose parents are from other countries train in the US and compete for another country, because they take care of their athletes and we do not. But I am so happy that celebrities like Flavor Flavors is supporting these athletes because it is so overdue.
Just a fyi he also gave to red lobster so they won't close down ( some states as plan)
