Cheapest Cities for International Students with Easy PR Options in Canada in 2024

- In this video, I talk about some of the best and most affordable cities in Canada for International Students in Canada. I discuss about the cities in most of the major provinces in Canada where new immigrants especially the new international students can move. The cost of living is relatively low in these Canadian Cities and chances of getting PR through PNP is also high.
So, if you are coming to Canada as an International Student or as a Permanent Resident, I hope this video will be useful for you in some way or the other.

Please make a video on Carleton university and Ottawa City.Have requested earlier as well to some other UA-camers as well but hasn't been made yet by anyone
Love ur videos..
Sir, please make one video where you compare nova scotia and alberta province in terms of parameters such as ease in getting PR, weather, job opportunities( including what sector jobs are prominent) and any other parameters that you want to consider. Also, please include in your video that which province is better for somebody who is already there in Canada (especially Ontario) and wants to move to either of these two provinces.
I agree, the weather is great in Halifax, and snow is minimal. However, there are a few aspects people should be aware of before moving:
1. Finding an affordable 1BHK in downtown Halifax is very challenging (unless taking over a lease & many landlords don't allow that anymore), and many buildings have issues with mice and bugs. The city is facing a significant housing crisis, with public parks housing tents due to limited affordable options. New lease in downtown for a 1BHK is minimum $2,200.
2. Job opportunities are scarce due to limited industries. Students from Sydney (that’s about 400 km from Halifax) relocate for work opportunities in Halifax. And these students go once a week to their university - Cape Breton University
3. As an Asian resident, the cost of living is relatively high, with limited availability of Indian groceries, leading to higher prices. There's no Chalo Freshco, and grocery options are monopolised.
4. Fuel costs are higher compared to the rest of Canada.
5. Taxes in NS are among the highest in the country.
6. Leisure activities are limited, making free time somewhat challenging.
@@prateekdhar3460 YOU SHOULD RETURN TO INDIA, PLEASE!

I'm moving to Alberta in 2 months.
So it will really help me.
Your is not only students there are also people who want to working.
So please make a video on that as well.
@@chumanchettriwow that's amazing. are u moving there as an student or worker? Which location in Alberta?
I have been living in Manitoba for 3 years. If you want to move to Manitoba, don't, unless your taking studies here. The mpnp score currently is way too high to be eligible for expression of interest. If you are studying here in Manitoba, it will definitely help a lot but if you moved from a different province, it will be a challenge. The draw when I applied for MPNP was the last draw in Jan 2022 when the score was below 500. Thankfully everything worked well and I got my PNP and PR under 1 year. But now the recent draw was around 770 which is a bit too much. Even if you have 3 years of experience, you won't be able to get that score (for ones who have moved from different province and they only have high school degree from India). So choose Manitoba wisely.
I'm currently studying my bachelors in India.
Its a 3 year program so most universities don't accept it for Masters program.
So I may have to do a diploma and then do my masters.
Now when I come to Manitoba or a province that has higher chances of PR, will I also get PR within an year?
What shall I do in Canada that increase my chances of PR?
@@mkzai getting PR within an year is tough. You have to check the curremt cutoffs in Manitoba pnp (provincial nominee program). Only thing I don't know is that how much score will you get if you have bachelor's degree from India. But currently even students studying here in Manitoba are struggling to get PNP because of the high cutoffs recently (specfically who only did 12th from India)
@@div_1090 Okay, and how did you get PR within an year?
@@mkzaiit took 4 months to get my pnp and around 6 months for my pr
