      That's an excellent question, but there has been little directly written on the topic. Reading about the philosophy of Mill is a good starting point, and I recommend this introduction to that: amzn.to/3Q00F4z
      There are books about social reform and social justice, but very few that bring philosophy into that discussion. One is "A Philosophical Examination of Social Justice and Child Poverty": amzn.to/3VzrM9X
      and another is "Social Justice and Positive Social Change": amzn.to/3Tyn9ub
