  • Performed as part of the dedicatory celebration concert marking the completion of the C.B. Fisk, Inc. Opus 145 pipe organ at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Southern Pines, NC, international concert organist Stephen Tharp offers his transcription for organ of one of the world's most loved and colorful works, "Pictures at an Exhibition" by Modest Mussorgsky. Tharp displays his unbelievable virtuosity in this live performance, declaring, "this is the best and most flexible Fisk of its size I've ever encountered!"

    Of course the piece was originally for piano, but maybe this version is based on the orchestral version by Ravel? Slightly misleading description, probably not intentionally so.
