Don't forget Chad is 10 years older and has the maturity to handle all the fans who want to see them, Avril has been a more private person so it's different for her.
avril handles the pap a lot better than most celebs though, nothing seems to phase her, she just does what she wants (in a good way), she doesn't let people boss her around, I mean how many singers can claim they wrote every single one of their songs. a lot of celebs i'm disappointed in because they used to be very good at what they did...then they broke down
