I love that Minori clarified that she's getting married because she wants to and not because she got pregnant and now has to get married. That has happened a lot in my family (with my parents and sister) and there were moments where they were completely unhappy with each other and arguing (my parents even divorced) and I just don't want Minori to have to go through that and actually getting married because she loves the guy ❤️

Congratulations hun! I'm so sorry you felt the need to give us a disclaimer. So what if the baby comes first, was or wasn't planned and/or anything else people like to project as taboo onto others! You're amazing and sweet and so too will your baby be. I wasn't married, my son was unplanned, and I literally fled from his biological father. It did not make me any less of a mom, and my child (although now 12) was and still is amazing and absolutely perfect. Unplanned doesn't mean unwanted, and although your child was planned, it's rewlly not anyome's business but yours, your fiance's, and if you choose to tell them, your child ♡. The best advice I can give you for parenthood is to basically listen to everyone's advice, but when the time comes to put it into practice, ignore it all and do what is best and feels right for YOU and YOUR FAMILY. Make sure not to overwork yourself, both physically and mentally, and most of all, you can't be the best mom, like I just know you will be, if you don't make sure to take care of yourself too. Take moments for you when you can because it's so much easier and rewarding to raise a child when you're not losing yourself in the craziness. You will be an amazing mom and I am so excited for you. You know what you're doing and you are a wonderful person ♡

My husband and I had our wedding rings custom designed by a jeweler friend of mine. We are both huge Ghibli fans so they were made into the shapes of makurokurosuke/soot sprites and we had a Ghibli/japanese themed wedding. It's so much more special when you get to choose the design or even make it yourself. Your ring is beautiful, Minori-san! Congratulations on both engagement and baby! ❤
@@ghibli1981 We painted a big banner with sakura trees on it that we had behind us on the table with a big Totoro in the middle of it. We also had soot sprites spread around in the room as well as little Ghibli themed name plates for the place settings. Plus we had little paper lanterns with LED lights inside that were red with gold and black paint and had the kanji for love (Ai) on them as well as the hiragana for our initials. Edit: I left out an important detail. Our wedding dance was to Merry-go-round of life.

Congrats on the engagement and especially on the baby! I became a mom a year ago and it's the best thing ever. Babies are a blessing, so don't let anyone get you down because you did things in a different order than society might think you should. From one youtuber to another, prep as many videos as you can before your baby comes, so you can take a maternity leave and not feel too overwhelmed when/if you get back to the channel. :) It's been a year and it's still challenging to post things on a regular basis for me! Anyway, congrats!!!!!

Congrats 🎉 My husband and I did our wedding ring ourselves as well. We did a course with a goldsmith and they turned out great! The goldsmith got his material from fair places where no child work or dirty things were involved (or less than other, he really cared about that) They have sooo much more value to us than any other expensive bought ring 😊

I think you're the fourth, Connor and Liana, Ihascupquake, Clare Siobhan, and now you. I'm so excited for you and wish you, your fiance and your unborn child the best in life. You're so sweet and I truly believe you deserve it. Sending all my love❤❤ Edit: I actually think you're the 5th, I don't know how I forgot about Caitlin and Leah, but I guess that just proves how many youtubers that I watch have been getting pregnant. It's really heart-warming to know that so many of the youtubers that I love are entering the next stage of their lives. Makes me feel a little bit less awkward about almost being 18, because so many people that I look up to have had their lives change drastically, or their lives are about to change drastically, and they seem to be doing okay. It calms me in a way, and makes me less scared of the future.

My husband and I had our wedding rings custom designed by a jeweler friend of mine. We are both huge Ghibli fans so they were made into the shapes of makurokurosuke/soot sprites and we had a Ghibli/japanese themed wedding. It's so much more special when you get to choose the design or even make it yourself. Your ring is beautiful, Minori-san! Congratulations on both engagement and baby! ❤

@@ghibli1981 We painted a big banner with sakura trees on it that we had behind us on the table with a big Totoro in the middle of it. We also had soot sprites spread around in the room as well as little Ghibli themed name plates for the place settings. Plus we had little paper lanterns with LED lights inside that were red with gold and black paint and had the kanji for love (Ai) on them as well as the hiragana for our initials.
Edit: I left out an important detail. Our wedding dance was to Merry-go-round of life.

Congrats on the engagement and especially on the baby! I became a mom a year ago and it's the best thing ever. Babies are a blessing, so don't let anyone get you down because you did things in a different order than society might think you should. From one youtuber to another, prep as many videos as you can before your baby comes, so you can take a maternity leave and not feel too overwhelmed when/if you get back to the channel. :) It's been a year and it's still challenging to post things on a regular basis for me! Anyway, congrats!!!!!

My husband and I did our wedding ring ourselves as well. We did a course with a goldsmith and they turned out great! The goldsmith got his material from fair places where no child work or dirty things were involved (or less than other, he really cared about that)
They have sooo much more value to us than any other expensive bought ring 😊

It's really heart-warming to know that so many of the youtubers that I love are entering the next stage of their lives. Makes me feel a little bit less awkward about almost being 18, because so many people that I look up to have had their lives change drastically, or their lives are about to change drastically, and they seem to be doing okay. It calms me in a way, and makes me less scared of the future.

I think UA-cam now thinks I want to watch a bunch of baby content because so many of my favourite youtubers have been having babies and getting pergnant. I'm not really complaining though, some of them are super cute.
