This is a metal cover of a song that I thought was impossible to make a metal cover of. Well, I didn’t see a Sonic Heroes expert, then it will be me. in this level, each room plays a certain repeating melody of eight bars and these 8 bars change only when the room changes. This is the only soundtrack in the game that is tied to level progression.
I always love Mystic Mansion theme in Sonic Heroes. Favorite level music, with the exception of also loving the Boss music when you fight Eggman's robots.
Come to think of it, this is the only 3D Sonic game I haven't played, but the way this was covered makes me wanna go do so at some point just to hear the rest of the OST if this and Seaside Hill are anything to go by.
Do it. Game is fairly flawed BUT if you can look past them, it has some really enjoyable aspects and a baller soundtrack in its own right. Just wait til you hear tracks like Egg Fleet & Bullet Station too haha

Sonic Heroes may be a shitty game, but it did have some good music. The music volume was way too low in the game though, so it was hard to appreciate it as much as the Sonic Adventure soundtracks which were always BLASTING in the games(to the point of drowning out the voices, not that anyone was complaining)
You're making me realize that Sonic Heroes had a pretty decent soundtrack that I largely forgot about due to the game being so mediocre. Excellent work on this cover!

One thing with sonic games is that even when it is a bad game the soundtrack still slaps
