In this weeks episode, Yes that's right, this plonker FALLS IN the CANAL, twice in a week!
We take our #HOUSEBOAT for a well deserved cruise through the Wiltshire countryside on the KENNET and AVON canal, have some GORGEOUS SUNSETS and we have some very SPECIAL GUESTS stay with us and we get serious with our #narrowboat renovations and sort our TINY BEDROOM.

Oh My Josh. The water must have been freezing. What a blessing your parents came for a visit and to help out with the dIY's. Loved your Dads music Ula; and your Mom is a dancer? very talented. I have a question for your Q&A... Any children in your future; and do you think it would be difficult living on the boat?
Ohhh thanks for the questions Jan, these are great. It was wonderful having mum and dad here on the boat. And yes mum is a dancer. She used to travel with a circus when she was younger but is classically trained and now teaches silver swans in Hastings :) xx

Looks like your all having Fun with the DIY fit-out. Using a Spirit Level on a Narrowboat only works if your boat is sitting level in the Water. Looks like your taking wild swimming to a new level.😊
Matt falling into the canal was so funny! Glad you were ok, but I bet it was cold. Lucky for me that no one photographed or videoed me when I fell into the river from our boat. The river Trent was much deeper, I disappeared under the water and had to swim to shore, luckily I’m a strong swimmer. I’ve heard it said that you’re not a proper boater until you’ve fallen in at least once! It was lovely to see Ula’s parents, they are great and it’s very useful having guests like them to help with your diy. You two are a breath of fresh air, I am really enjoying your vlogs, take care you two. X

This simultaneously made my heart feel full and broken. Life would be much easier with a "Nature's Head" composting toilet. Rather expensive initially, but much easier than a cassette toilet. I used one for a couple of years when living off grid in a trailer caravan.
We have heard of them... but decided to go with a compoost toilet, they look very smart and are around the same price I believe :)
I don’t enjoy the best of health, so watching a couple, so deeply in love, living life to the full fullest, gladdens my heart ❤️

Josh if you screw a batten across the bottom of the end of the plank then one more batten spaced so you get a batten each side of the gunnel it will save you getting a little wet but to do it twice shows you are getting well trained at jumping out of the cut.. How amazing :) one tip for the holiday… when passing other narrowboats put the boat into tick over (so you don’t rock other boats too much when you pass them) 😊 that will keep the boaters on your side!! Here in America the type of wood they use on pallets is treated. It isn't safe to use as fire wood. Something you should check into.

Not sure if you’re saturating the daytime shots, but love the shot at the end of the swan and boat, beautiful colours. ❤
We use lots of different cameras so that may have something to do with the change in colours :) but that shot was taken on our Fuji x pro II

Make sure Josh is ok. Coz you can catch Weil's Disease from canal water but you can also catch other Gastro-intestinal illness as the canal are full of waste from the animals near by. As canal water isn’t the cleanest
