Here is an idea to make the head-feathers for some birds out of wool: Use the ends of the pieces, you use to tie uo the pumpoms. be sure, that the knot is at the top. Chuck: Tie the pom-pom with 3-4 pieces of blachk wool and let the ends 2-3 cm longer than the surrounding yellow wool. Bomb: Tie the pom-pom with 6 pieces of black wool. Divide the ends into three groups of four and braid them. Tie a knot to secure the braid, if it´s long enouch and cut the remaining ends off. Glue a strip of yellow felt around the knot. Stella: Tie the pom-pom with 18 pieces of pink wool. make braids as told for bomb, but this time there are enough ends for three such braids. glue strips darker pink felt around the knots at the braids.

I think, i have got an idea, how to make a Stella-pom-pom: Cut two identical rings (the hole in the middle should be around the half size of the out-line-circle) whith a slot from cardboard and put them together, that the shape fits. wrab some white yarn around both rings oppostie to the slot until the middle hole is about 1/4 full. than wrap pink yarn around the rings, until the middle-hole is full with yarn. Gently cut off the yarn-wrapping along the outline of the rings. gut 9 long pieces of pink yarn and pull then between the rings around all yarn there and tie them tight to secure the pom-pom. move that knot a bit to one site, to make it not exact opposite to the white area of the pom-pom. The side, where the knot is closest to the white area is the front. Split the knottet jyarn-pieces into 9 groups of two pieces and braid them into three cords. secure the ends of that cords with small strips of brighter pink felt, that can be wrapped around them with hot glue. Cut off the yarn ends above that strips. Theese are Stella´s head-feathers. Stella´s beak has an almost similar shape to red´s, but smaller cut it this way from the light orange felt and glue it to the front of the pom-pom directly, where white and pink touch. for the eyes, you can use the same kind of beads like shown at the other birds. But draw blue pupils this time. use thin black yarn for the eylashes and eyebrows for the eyelashes glue three small pieces of that yarn together with one end each and glue them directly on top of the eyes a bit to the outside (behind the eyes a bit between the pink yarn ends to hide the hot-glue-drops) the eyebrows are a single small piece of that black yarn each glue them in place by using the hot glue very careful. otherwhise that may look messy there. In some games and animations Stella´s tail-feathers look a bit longer and more rounded, than from the others. cut three pieces of that shape from the black felt and glue them to the backside of the pom-pom, a bit above the edge between pink and white. That should it be.
