Parents of child actor Cameron Boyce create foundation to help cure epilepsy, end SUDEP

- Cameron Boyce was a child actor who stared in in the Disney TV series ‘Jesse’ and ‘The Descendants.’ Unfortunately, he died in 2019, at the age of 20 from what his parents say was a ‘sudden unexpected death in epilepsy’. His parents have since started the Cameron Boyce Foundation, which was just awarded its largest grant of $250,000. His parents Libby and Victor Boyce joined FOX 11 News to discuss the foundation.

It's great that they're taking such a tragic event in their life and raising awareness. I have epilepsy and my seizures only happens during my sleep which is horrific. It's horrible for me and it's horrible for my family to watch me go through. I hope they're holding up okay. Rest in peace, Cameron
Its still just so weird. Since two years life hasn’t been the same, I didn’t even had the luck to meet Cam but he made my life brighter and worth every single second of it, he made me believed in his ideas and at the day of today I just want to pursue his legacy. I cant even imagine how his family must feel, I wish y’all the best 🤍

I was diagnosed last year with epilepsy I have ashbergers syndrome and adhd um and I had my first code blue grande Mal seizer with phone coming out of my mouth and my face lips and everything were turning blue it was scary having a near dead experience defemetly scary for sure
