that video is 1 year old, TNT Boys were not yet born, but because of that performance it was created. yes it was song battle with a lil bit drama. i enjoyed reactions!!
The host knew how to bring the fire out of our boys and that's what makes this video so special.
This is the birth of the TNT BOYS. Thanks for reacting. They were instructed by the host who sings which line . But it's as if they are fighting the bully
yesss...this is that genuine moment when the TNT Boys went from solo contestants to competing as a trio. Francis (who played the antagonist on this show) was barely 10 years old (Keifer, with the white shirt & Mackie, the little showman w/ the bomber jacket was barely 11/12 years old). Craaaazzzzyyyy!
1. "Gandang gabi vice" means good evening vice = its like an "ellen denegeres show". The name of the host is Vice Ganda.
2. Those 5 kids were grandfinalists in a singing contest called "Tawag Ng Tanghalan" (TNT for short).
3. The host is also a singer and an actor comedian. During the show he asked the kids if they want to be actors and they said yes. So the host asked them to act but in a battle song by singing " Listen"
4. The little boy who just sat down and didnt join the battle song was actually the grandchampion winner but because he had colds he was excluded. The only girl among the kids was also excluded in the battle song.
5. This performance of the 3 kids was impromptu thats why u saw the host pointing at them whenever they sing. The host knew what amd when to butt in bcoz he is also a singer performer. And bcoz of this show TNT BOYS was born. It really went viral on youtube and facebook.
perfect summary. This show was how they decided to be together, Vice Ganda is considered to be the one who got them together with this epic challenge. TNT is defined by Peter above, and since these were the 5 finalists, they called them the TNT Kids, but not as a performing group, just because they came from the show "TNT".
Great summary. One really can't help but think destiny played a hand in how TNT Boys came to be.
The key was that the 3 boys knew all the lyrics of the song so Vice just pointed at anyone to sing the part
It is so Ironic that the kid who won Tawag Ng Tanghalan was not able to be part of that impromptu where TNT Boys were about to make a step of their beginning as an international sensation.
They were not a group yet. They were competititors in a local talent show. This was the first time they sang together! Awesome.
It's an impromptu singing battle (as you can see the host pointing out whose gonna sing next and what reaction they will do) (because GALIT means Angry in english) in GGV after the Grand Finals of Tawag Ng Tanghalan (Kids edition in 2017). It's a amateur singing competition in the Philippines. The boys are all finalists in TNT kids but didn't won. Kiefer Sanchez was declared as Runner - up, Mackie Empuerto finished as Third place and the Francis Concepcion finished at Fifth Place. And the boy kid who the host said to just sit down and rest his voice (is the champion) because he was sick that time. And that's the start of them being a boy group. And called them TNT boys means "Tawag Ng Tanghalan" the singing competition they came from.

He guested the top 5 finalists of TNT (Tawag ng Tanghalan/Call of the Stage). The 1st placer was under the weather. He asked the 3 kids, kiefer (2nd place), Mackie (3rd), francis (5th) to do a song battle. It went viral.
Sometimes you are crazy reactor...hahaha!!! Love u both!!!. Well this vid is a years later I think...it's a evening tv show..named Ganda Gabi vice...means..."good evening vice"... Vice is the name of the host(aka vice Ganda....screen name) tnx for the reaction😊😊😊

So the host (Vice Ganda) wanted to make a drama, like the bully (Francis) vs the victim/main character (Kiefer) and the friend of the victim (Mackie) and so, they have to fight by singing "Listen". (It's a fight scene kinda thing but using a song and higher voices to show emotions)
Kontrabida means "Antagonist"( like the enemy). At first Kiefer the victim confronts Francis the Bully, then Francis replies back. Then Mackie saves Kiefer and he battles Francis. At the end Kiefer then saves himself from Francis. Sorry, it's hard to explain but, that's pretty much it actually..😅💖🥰🇵🇭
You two are great reactors and you can see how much you guys enjoy the tnt boys but please react to TNT boys a millions dreams v.2 with story line, you will see where the boys came from and how the tnt boys all started, it shows the determination of the boys and shows that dreams do come true you just have to never give up no matter what life throws at us ❤️❤️❤️❤️🇬🇧
The show is aired every Sunday night Philippines time around 11pm. The Gandang Gabi Vice is the name of the show meaning "Good evening Vice"
..During this show, thr guest were the finalist and grand champion of the singing competition Tawag ng Tanghalan (a noontime show here in the Philippines a singing competition) the Host (vice ganda) ask the kids if they like to be an artist- actors..and he kids answer is yes...
Then, he said let's do a battle but they are arguing..and they have to do it by singing Beyoncé''s song "Listen"...
The twist is, the host will direct who will sing the part and they have to be in character...so this video went viral and from there this kids are known all over the world
it is pretty much the original TNT Boys video-kids grow up so fast don't they?

Lol I guess I should've read the other comments that other fans left that explained everything already. 😜 well they're still going strong, have a huge fan base around the world, adjusting to puberty & their voices....omg! If you haven't heard their recent songs....go to their own UA-cam channel TNT Boys! Every Thurs the do a live vlog at 830am USA eastern time (8p Phillipines time)
And for the other kid (also in white) the host told him to sit down and rest while the three do their Singing battle showdown😅
(Btw during the fight Francis said that Mackie should be the bully instead because of the way he sings)

Hmmm hi Alvin and Latina ..my fav reactor ..I try to answer of all your questions but I'm sorry but my English is not really good 😂 this is all we all started..that's why we have tnt boys..and that's vice ganda he is the reason why..he just give the challenge to boys ..before he just ask the boys if they want to be the actors..so he said they will sing a song Listen but just like in a voice battle. ..he is the one who point who sing first..then this guesting is went viral..

they were indeed discovered on that show.They were a guest to that show gandang gabi vice because they were finalist from a kid singing show Tawag ng tanghalan(TNT).And the host ask them to battle the song listen were like one boy mackie is depending kiefer from francis.It was a random thought of the host.It was the start of the trio.
They were contestants on a singing contest called Tawag ng Tanghalan TNT ang they were finalists....they were interviewed at that show thats when they were discovered to be a team...
