MICKEY LORD here, from Canada. No bullshit. You’ll know damn well it’s me. I personally want to thank you for remembering me as the original GP guitar player. I feel honored by hearing you telling the stories about the band. I think Skidzo and Strange (may God spare their soul) did a fucking great job on the guitar and production of the GP music legacy. Especially Skidzo who took the task of handling the GP sound production and treat the music with the respect it deserved. And on a upright note, I vividly remember you as a passionate and very energetic guitar player, far better than me that’s for sure. I enjoy jamming in the Ex-Idols embryo stage. Getting all my agression out on the guitar. I remember pretty well bashing out my black Gibson Explorer straight into my Randall stack at that time!!! Thanx for keeping those stories alive. CYA (Christian M / aka Mickey Lord)
@@ronniejon8990 Thanks for your question. We are looking for him. And when I say we, I’m talking about all the original Glamour Punks founding members: Me, Screaming Boy Mandie (vocals) and Staci Chemical (Bass). If you ever do find him let me know.
@@mandie7349 Well Hello Mandie! Thanks for writing me, it warms my heart. Say hello to all my wonderful Japanese friends I made back then. I vividly remember Miyuki, who used to fly out from Japan to LA at most of the Glamour Punks and Bad Blood shows. Those were great years of my musical career. Thanks to all of you who loved our music.
very cool. i was in L.A. in 92 and discovered these guys from Rock City News and Bam. i was trying to put a band together in NY and someone sent me a demo of the Punks, Queeny Blast Pop, Swingin Thing and i think Fizzy Bangers. Swingin Thing sounded pro but the Punks were dangerous for sure. total shame they didn't go anywhere
