The Ferrari and Porsche sure do shift slow for cars with the two fastest gearboxes you can find on the market.
Forza doesn't even attempt to get the gearbox shift noises right. That's why I just can't get into it. F1 22 (the supercars) got them spot on, Forza could too of they wanted
So just to recap...
The 812 Superfast got its sound effectively dulled down.
The Aventador SV got the generic vacuum cleaner Lamborghini V12 sound that has existed since FH3.
The Cayman GT4RS now at least sounds like it has the correct number of cylinders.
@@fifteen8850 no? XD

Update 7.0? Should have been called "Early Access Build 7" Because the real release is when they finish updating this game to really look like "from the ground up".
To defend Turn 10 or Microsoft for once, they Created it as a Live-Service game.
That's no excuse to release an unfinished bugfest(on PC at least) like this. Though it's one excuse to fix all the issues from the release even after half a year after release.
Not like Gran Turismo where they update the games to add new content and not to finish the pre-release state.
@@DustinsCarFamily on the flipside, to attack Turn 10/Microsoft, the game much more clearly befits an Early Access moniker, as both are intended to provide updates and content, but Live Service models should be expanding upon a completed game with fresh content to maintain engagement. FM23 is quite objectively an Early Access title: broken at launch and stripped of content that one could argue makes it incomplete at a base level.
6+ months later, and now PC users are by and large finally getting a game that's mostly-stable, but we're still stuck with a broken penalty system (TBD after today's update), missing core featurers (game modes, weather/proxy radars, AI in private lobbies, basic QoL like dyno graphs, a livery browser that isn't hot garbage, etc), and heavily recycled assets (that will hurt the game until the end of what's likely going to be a painfully long lifecycle).
If they released it as Early Access, sooo many issues could be swept under the rug. But they should've sold it at EA prices. It's a $40 game parading under a $70-100 tag.
@@DustinsCarFamily Where the physics on Gt7? Recycled physic of older games.
Only 2 games is really racing full simulators: Asseto corsa, IRacing.
FM = trying way for iracing.
Gt7 = False marketing of simulator, only visuals and simulator is fake. Game for take photos.
@@rodrigo2silvanoob if you say GT7 uses recycled physics then you clearly have no idea about driving.
No doubt that AC might be a very good Simulator, but it's not the best. Gran Turismo feels much more real at some points and on others does AC. Point.
Forza Motorsport on the flip side has no realistic feeling at all. It simulates driving in a synthetic way. Other than Gran Turismo does where they evolve with every generation.
@@oppos727 that's the other side of the story.
That just can't be ignored. I mean I don't give anything about PC gaming but I feel sorry for those who bought the game on PC.
That is why Gran Turismo is a market leader.
They develop the games only for one platform and it works (for most of the time) flawlessly. The physics never caused any issues at least.
The day where Turn 10 of Microsoft (or whoever was responsible for that decision ) started to develop FM for two platforms was the same day where the franchise went downhill.
That's why PlayStation releases their Exclusive games so late for PC (and they're still glitchy and buggy, also another reason why GT will never get to PC).
How Ferrari allowed that shi*
Thanks for fixing the car sounds especially the cayman gt4rs.....I couldn't even drive it since it sounded so bad
its better but the sound is ripped straight from fh4 and fm7
they couldve used one of the fh5 sounds and it still wouldve been better
Forza team could not even scan the correct dash of the aventador. The low redline dash is for when the engine isn't warm yet.
Over 6 months, just to scrap the new sounds for "better" ones from FH4 and 5. Amazing.
@@thebestone3987 The Ferrari and Lamborghini are clearly directly ripped from FH5, the Porsche is ripped from FH4 GT3RS with the intake noise ripped out and swapped for the one from the 911 Strassenversion.

Thats why Im not giving one more cent to Turn 10/Playground Games. If in the next forza sounds are not amazing, Im not buying. Is that simple.
The sounds on the modern day V12 Ferraris have been royally screwed. The 812 still has a wrong sound, in fact, now it just sounds quiet, suppressed and "howly". They've copied pasted this wrong sample to all the other modern day V12 Ferraris like the FXX-Ks, the 599XX's, the F12, LaFerrari - now all of them them sound like the suppressed and howling 812 - the signature screaming sound is gone.
This company deserves all the shaming and negativity it can get. The best part? They are shutting people out and banning accounts for voicing complaints on the forum about car sounds. Arrogant clowns.
The other cars haven't received any impressive sound updates either, while dozens and dozens are still wrong.
I am especially furious about how the modern V12 Ferraris sound even more wrong now. Can you please make a video about how they took the wrong 812 sound and just copied pasted it to all the "XX" Ferraris, including LaFerrari, F12 and 599?
@MotoGamesTV
I remember hearing one of the race track ambient sounds and there was an distinct ferrari V12 sounding amazing but in actual game and to put it lightly, It's awful still.
The Ferrari v12s more or less sound the same, especially since the laferrari and the f12 share the exact same engine
Would be nice to just include a real life example in the video for every car just to show how wrong T10 made the sounds
Fast Lane Gaming has done extensive videos on the copy pasting in Forza. He has some terrific examples of the shared sound files across car models in this game.
He is the go to guy for those who care about car sounds in racin games.
@@fifteen8850 Not really, yes they use the same Engine but they have different characteristics.
F12 sounds more quiet, more like a GT car.
LaFerrari sounds louder, more aggressive tone and a louder intake that has a more music to it compared to the F12.
FXXK / Apollo IE use the same Engine, but they sound ear-shattering, brutal exhaust noise, with a louder intake, brutal shifts.
Does Forza Motorsport represent any of these details? All I hear in FM is a robotic unauthentic FMOD sound file made from old wrong samples they had from the previous titles that sound lazy, compressed and shit...nothing like IRL.
Last time FM had decent sounding V12 Ferrari was Forza Motorsport 5 and 6 (they weren't so great but way better than present Forza Motorsport).
A good example of Ferrari V12 sound is Driveclub, and Assetto Corsa.
At this point the Turn 10 is just taking the piss. I can't believe a bunch of developers cant figure out accurate car counds while all it takes to get it right is just to watch some UA-cam videos and learn how some of these cars actually sound.
Porsche sound before: Dyson Vacuum
Porsche sound now: Washing Machine
Turn 10 quality strikes again.
You can really tell the difference between the before/after car sounds from the cockpit cam but the Cayman was night and DAY. How the launch version passed the final screening is beyond me.
