These really felt like a transitional period for the network: Still had the crazy vibes of the previous eras, but you could tell that they were slowly moving away from “weird”.
As you know, the 2003-2007 monsters (from the "Keep It Weird!" era) with the 2005 logo text were used from January 2006 to August 2007, when all the "Keep It Weird!"-styled bumpers were beginning to disappear.
I don't live in Canada. But this Channel is really awesome! I just wish American Kids TV was like this... Heck, I bet all of the kids in Canada watched Kids tv than Kids in the USA
If The "Keep It Weird" Era Was The Silver Age of The Channel! But 2006 Ident is Where Its at For Me This was Like YTV's Attitude Era. I Miss These Idents So Much.
I much prefer the Keep It Weird and creature era. I only watched the creatures era for a very short time no more than two years and I already felt betrayed when I saw these newer bumpers which I thought was much less interesting. The 90s era around 1994-1998 was also really good, they focused more on "edgy/cool and cyberpunk" than "weird and zany" of the keep it weird era. From this video I just like the first few simple bumpers and the Godzilla bumper and that's it. I like the Godzilla one because it compliments the influx of anime at the time. I liked the first few simple bumpers when they showed anime afterwards but not when they showed cartoons. I always thought it to be like a kids friendly version of Bionix kind of vibe.

Looking at these are so weird since I’m a kid that watches ytv now and these look so different from now besides logo which only changed a bit
YTV was the shit back in 2000-2014. Whatever happened to you??
