Watch this one in HD! The slow mo guys are well aware that water balloons are always good in slow motion. In this video, Gav and crew try (and fail many times) to pop a 6ft giant red balloon.

Dude I was 13 when this came out...and I still remember all the one-liners...all the lil giggles. The methods, the freeze frames, the cuts...it all comes back to me in real time every time I watch it. I miss the simpler era of the internet where we all just wanted to ask "what if" questions and laugh about stupid things.

Ah yes, the era of slow mo guys when Gavin willingly got his hands dirty.
Before it was routine for Dan to be The Ritual Sacrifice.
I actually just watched a video where they talked about this. Apparently they actually started filming it one day while Dan was there, surprisingly manning the camera, but when the balloon popped Dan triggered the camera too early, meaning the shot was incomplete. According to Gavin, "some time later" was about 3 weeks, and by that point Dan was off with that Army.
