    Yeah, just like all the "new treatments" for baldness. This thing won't do a thing, I guarantee it. If you care about aging, Sun screen is 1#. Besides that, It's possible to delay aging and reverse a LOT just through Microneedling. No procedure that I have done in my life was as helpful as the high-quality derma pen I got for around 100$

    • @GlennaCoye

      Yeah sure, during the years I have tried almost everything to look younger + delay aging as much as possible, anything from face exercises, vitamin C serum, Fraxel, collagen supplements and of course Retin A (7 years straight), home devices and what not. I swear, Nothing made any real difference compared to microneedling. Within 3 months of use, my skin has improved DRAMATICALLY. I don't look like I'm 20's again, but definitely not 44 either. My fine lines have disappeared completely, and my nasolabial folds are way less are nonexist (never had jowls though). People often underestimate the power of wounding and the revolutionary effects it can have on the skin

      The skin however is our largest organ and our protective barrier against bacteria and infections. Skin becomes weaker as we get older and is more fragile and less protective. I don't see how that's not a very relevant part of aging.

    can we also cure baldness too while we're at it?

    • @maximusasauluk7359
      @maximusasauluk7359 2 місяці тому +19

      Theoretically, this should be even easier to fix as the issue is less complex, actually. It requires DNA editing to follicle cells, to stop their miniaturization and eventual death. The main issue is that the cause for male pattern baldness is not so simple, there seem to be many genes involved so it's hard to say how long until commercialization, especially with AI growing (it will help speed this). The window of 10-20 years is doable, in my opinion I don't think it will take more than 2 decades to get there, we already know some things about how it works. What I do know is that DNA editing therapies for unrelated healthcare applications are already being approved for humans, which means it's now only a matter of time before we start changing baldness, eye color, who knows what else...

      You dont have ADHD. What a thick thing to say in the same line as saying you've 40 years untreated addiction.
      Meaning, youve been pumping yourself full of chemicals that effect the brain, and if youve been consuming alcohol which is full of sugars, then that will also drive ADHD type symptoms and brain fog.
      Yet, youre angry when someone makes a friendly suggestion. But the most laughable part is, you call my idea a psuedoscience 🤣🤣🤣🤣

    The problem is that aging is probably not pre-programmed process, but it's simply a result of accumulated damage to the DNA so cells are producing proteins with misplaced amino acids which either renders them harmful or simply not functioning at all causing cells being less and less able to perform their functions which then leads to collapse of the system = death. I think there is a need to somehow keep the DNA "fresh" because even if you learn how to control different genes and trigger some actions to repair damage, if those genes are damaged, you will simply replace damaged cell with another damaged cell.

      It's the epigenome that changes over time, not the genome. Exosomes within plasma seem to be the signaling mechanism.
      There have been various experiments over the years, the oldest one involving sewing rats together. One of the more well known ones has been this "E5" stuff, which used filtered pig plasma in rats. One of the most ridiculous things, besides the holistic organ rejuvenation, is that none of the treated rats developed tumors.

      @noteda6361 2 місяці тому

      @@everythingisterrible8862 Epigenome does change, but so does genome. Each replication of DNA during cell division generates big number of errors which are then mostly repaired by multiple protein complexes, but they are not 100% reliable and leftover mutations get replicated into next cell and number of mutations is increasing with each replication. DNA can be also damaged by oxidation, radiation etc. causing gene mutations.
      Pre-programmed epigenome changes are mostly during body development, once we are adults I think that further changes are then caused by replication errors, oxidation, radiation etc. and as a reaction to the changes in the system to compensate for all the errors as they are mounting.

      its pre programmed. our cells csn only divide into new ones so many times before that process gets old. they found a protien chain or something in the tail of the dna that controls it. they managed to turn it off...which is basically manmade cancer. they dont know if the chsnge theyre making affects anything else..and as its all fractal based code it most definately will.
      we found the calculator but we dont know how to use it for more than writing 5138008

    Nobody can afford their lifespan NOW. Why on earth would they want to live longer.
    I'm actually trying to shorten mine. The way this world is headed, I don't wanna be here in 40 years.
    This only makes sense for the rich, and I'm sure that will be their target market anyway.
