The bonus for selling at the store directly is about 10% which happens to be your profit. If you buy fix and sell directly you pretty much break even but if you sell to store that’s your profit.
How to get to the part where you can sell at the store? I (just now) tried this method for a dolly and trailer, and the sell price of the dolly was net -$1 and the trailer was even money, $0 profit. I have been in and out of the dealer screen where you buy like you could in FS22, but not sure how to do that in '25.
I just noticed that there is a price difference in repairing between the little repair trailer, the garage that you placed down and the dealership repair cost. On the Amitytech, the trailer was $1890 to repair, the workshop was $1895 to repair and the dealer repair cost was $1907. Not a huge difference, but each little bit helps. Great video MSP.
Tell me Mr P. Have you noticed the landscaping tools have gone very slow when using since update or is it just me …. Great content keep up the good work
I found that whilst repainting adds value, it doesn't add the full cost of the repaint. In my testing it was the repair which was worth doing. I allow myself one repair per week (working with4 day seasons).
Some of the later mods on fs 22 would allow you to paint. Some later maps also if there incorporated work station on main farm would also let you paint. Otherwise it was the vehicle shop only
I figured this 'hack' out on day two after game launch. BUT. 'Also noticed that the deals are on macinery with a engine, are the way to go. Cause some implements will set you back, with no profit, but a loss. Also the repaint is almost a waste of time, i just use the repair, not the repaint. AND, no money, no problem. Take out a loan for the cost, and repai after sale, just as you do not pass midnight (game time) Then there's no intrest cost. Happy farming. (or part time farm equipment flipper.)
I've just tried this for the first time.just bought landini tractor for 17 grand and sold for 30 grand straight away without repairs or repaint in riverbed if it makes a difference
I love this things! Other way to earn money in the game. Had no idea about this, have to try. Was a bit put off when Giant nerfed the wood transport contract so much, that made it too slow to play as an entrepreneour, and the cost for the lorry to big.

Would you still turn a profit if you just repaired and sold or just repainted and sold and I wonder which of the two is the more profitable one thinking early game when you've got less money. I might have to check that out.
I watched a farmer cop video that if you turn off straw dropping on a harvester and spread it out behind the combine it actually gives a mulched state on your field saves on buying a mulcher
Doing this will save you the muncher, but it will also cost you about 1/3 profits from the crops that produce it. The crops that produce straw are not very profitable without the straw.
@@shockskeeper9662 you are correct about the mulched state, it does not need mulching and you get a small yeild bonus to the next crop. you just lose out on the profits from selling the straw which is more than the yield benefit you get from mulching. It was either 19 or 22, there was a modded place-able workshop at which you could repaint. In 22, there was one where you could refuel (but it had little decorations - tool box, plastic bins, etc - that I was always hitting with my vehicle and launching into fields to mess with my field workers...
On FS 22 I purchased a used low loader for $11,685 and spent $1,597 painting and $167 repairs for a total of $13,449. I was offered a sell price of $6,548. No deal. Restart no save. It's a bust.
Hello there, the prices were showing a. Profit just from buying and then selling the item. Without doing any extra work on them. But wanted to ask couldn’t you borrow the money from the bank then repay within the day? Is there an interest charge if repaid within the day?
If my math is correct, then the Grimme (for example) cost 20,464. By selling it back without any additional work, MrP would have sold it for 22,499 for roughly a 2,035 profit. By repainting and repairing then MrP earned 3,023 profit. We’re not talking about a huge difference here, but this is one machine and additional testing should be done.

its cheating for sure. you're not selling to other people you're selling it back to who you bought it from originally. If it was a multiplayer world then yes it makes sense you could sell it for more.
You can make even more profit if you don't repaint the item. I made over $40k profit on a $335 Grimme Ventor without repainting compared to a $20k profit with repainting
First, this video could have been 5 minutes, and I skipped through some of it. Second, What I didn't see (please correct me if I am wrong) is that you actually hit the yes button after seeing what the price was. I noticed on a Daggerwin video that the price you actually get is LOWER than what it shows you before you actually sell it. I don't remember if he was selling at the dealership or his placeable workshop.
@@toddblankenship7164 I can confirm that it was patched, and the price is sold as advertised. I was also not able to repaint or sell from the placeable. You can click on the item from the map and sell it. You can just buy the sale item and bring it straight to the dealer and sell it without repair or repaint and make a profit. The profit is better if you repair / repaint. Bottom line, if you flip, stay at the dealership, and you will profit.
You mention you need the capital first but I have noticed that if you take out a loan and repay the loan prior to midnight of that same day there is no interest. So as long as you can borrow enough you can buy, repair, repaint and resell making the profit and then immediately repay the loan costing you nothing not even interest.
I didn't think this worked on 22, but I never take vehicles back to the shop to sell them. I was 100% sure they never give you more than you paid for them, weird thanks.

All these years and MrSealyP never painted? You never got the Van Goh achievement yet? Only can paint at the store. I didn't know about the used vehicle market either. But wait, flipping vehicles and you already have over 50M$??
I think its fine to use if you do some sort of role play where you are an expert in reparing john deer equipment for example. I wouldn't abuse it and just make a bunch of money because that kind of ruins the game. Great video!
With the new driving settings when I driving a tractor with a harvester header on trailer it's fish tailing that's annoying why didn't they just leave the settings alone
MrSealyP I watched this video and been flipping on FS 25, it is interesting on you can kindof see what you will make by the first 2 numbers after adding the used equipment, paint, and repair and adding it up... For example, Horsch seeder total repair, purchase and repaint was 10,691 and i made 1,068 on it profit. Zunhammer slurry transport 26,590 for purchase, repair, repaint, and made 2,,655 on it and finally a 3rd example schaeffer telehandler 97,704 for purchase repair, repaint and made 9,749 profit. This was done over several in month games of 1 day per month and multiple pieces of equipment from tractors, trucks, implements, trailers etc. Hope this helps
Now I have to go and watch Daggerwin selling his 7S and see if there is any obvious reason that after repainting and reparing, the value stated was more than it offered him when he actually clicked sell, because in your video the value and the sell price are identical...
The container workshop on fs22 also let u repaint and sell from it too. It was the only one I remember let u do all 3 like the main dealership. All the others just let u repair things
The red lights on console are caused by the base game auto bale pickup when used. It never happened to me till i bought one. It went away after i sold it.
Why has the game gotten worse? I know I'm not the only person having trouble with the game, it seems like it was made by toddlers or something. Im not wanting to name call anyone but this is now getting ridiculous. The AI in all of farming simulator games have seem to be just bad! And the car traffic is like playing games GTA online! The cars pull right out in front of my hired workers moving equipment to new fields. Or the hired works running into trees and buildings and they get stuck on nothing. Even sometimes I'll hire them and they won't even move. Giants needs to fix there game before focusing on mods. Keep up the great work though, and let's pray it's fixed soon....

Lmao out loud...he said "by pigeon".....omg
👋😊
Now I have to go and watch Daggerwin selling his 7S and see if there is any obvious reason that after repainting and reparing, the value stated was more than it offered him when he actually clicked sell, because in your video the value and the sell price are identical...
Oh, there is talk it that was a bug that was fixed in 1.3, that episode was 45, and he didn't get 1.3 until episode 47.
You should have checked the price to sell before you repaired it
Oh no I’d already sent off my sternly worded letter via carrier pigeon to you about the mistake.
The container workshop on fs22 also let u repaint and sell from it too. It was the only one I remember let u do all 3 like the main dealership. All the others just let u repair things
@DeeDee.Ranged aw I never saw that I was a ps4 player and jus upgraded to ps5 but it be good if its comes to all on fs25
The red lights on console are caused by the base game auto bale pickup when used. It never happened to me till i bought one. It went away after i sold it.
no mod review.. hope you OK mr sealyp
Are you OK mrsealyp?
Mr SaturatedP
You have to repair before you can respray
Just tried this on FS22 and lost 5 grand... Not sure what I'm missing here.
No where is it cheaper to repair?
Why has the game gotten worse? I know I'm not the only person having trouble with the game, it seems like it was made by toddlers or something. Im not wanting to name call anyone but this is now getting ridiculous. The AI in all of farming simulator games have seem to be just bad! And the car traffic is like playing games GTA online! The cars pull right out in front of my hired workers moving equipment to new fields. Or the hired works running into trees and buildings and they get stuck on nothing. Even sometimes I'll hire them and they won't even move. Giants needs to fix there game before focusing on mods. Keep up the great work though, and let's pray it's fixed soon....
dont forget mr sealyp the 15% extra on taking it to store
MrDelBoySealyP
Mechanics don’t have a paint booth
Love your videos. Hate the game. This game absolutely sucks
Why you not using a main workshop? Does this work better in modded workshop?
