Because it was a bit difficult to slip stitch each round I just kept crocheting around in a spiral. Since the stitches are so small you can't tell. What I love about this pattern is the way it was started. Instead of crocheting a square, folding it and then sewing the sides and bottom, she just crocheted the bottom and crocheted the bag in rounds. Ingenious. 🧠
let's just take a moment to appreciate how versatile this simple idea is! I personally love it I even used the same idea plus a little extra to make a market bag for my grandma (it's almost her birthday and she loves to do local shopping in her small town when the local markets open in the spring and summer so this pattern/idea helped me so much) i'm using it to make a few more bags and pouches to help with practicing my color changing this has been a simple helpful thing for me by far I love it
Thank you so much for this. Although I crochet I am not very good at reading crochet patterns so the video is excellent. I will be making some of these to donate to a children's hospital for the teens to carry their cell phones as they are often the age group that gets overlooked for donations. I'll be adding an adjustable strap so they can hang them from their IV poles, wheelchair, shoulder, etc.
Thank you for this tutorial, Donna. It's a versatile design and can be done for other devices by adjusting for size (width and length). Super easy and you're a great teacher.
i have found your tutorials amazingly helpful..i love the way you guide us to fix these beautiful things...a big thank you...looking forward to watching more from this channel ♡♡

+naztazia This looked awesome I want one now lol. I would love to learn how to make this on my own. I just need to take my time. I use to crochet all the time when I was a kid and even as an adult but never kept at it.
Might do this as I have spare yarn 🧶 I’m currently waiting on new yarn for my mermaid tail blanket I’m doing so this will keep going till then 😊 great pattern 😊❤️🧶
So pretty😍😍😍 I am a beginner and I found your tutorial in making this phone pouch is quite easy.. I think I can learn just right👍👍👍 Salute from Indonesia!🙆
Donna~ I discovered your patterns when I started making the Awareness Ribbon scarf. (I have made 10 of them now for family and friends, among other patterns you have.) You're so very creative! Anyway ... I have used a knitted pattern for the last few years. I will certainly try your crochet version now. What I would add to it, as I did with the knitted pattern, is a short strap with ring on one end and carabiner on the other. (Its original use is as a belt loop key ring. I got them in several colors at Home Depot.) I sewed the ring to the back of the case, making sure the carabiner is above the top of the case. I go out with friends on photography shoots and this allows me to carry the phone easily on my belt loop.

ThisTutorial for the Cell phone cover is great. You explained and showed everything very well. I understood everything and you make it look very easy to make.☺️. Specialty about the seam to keep it going along side of your project,👌. I'm gonna try and make one. Thank You.
I don't understand why I keep increasing my stitches! I'm trying to keep them at 22, but constantly find myself counting to 24-26 and restarting. How can I prevent this?
+Ena Bekanovic Hi! I oftentimes use a stitch marker to mark the first stitch - this ensures I do not go past that mark. Also probably need to be careful to only put 1 stitch in each stitch from the row below.

If I use just 1 color, do I always have to slip stitch and then chain 1 for each row or can I just not keep going each row?
