In this video, I delve into the celebration of the summer solstice throughout history. I give many examples of ancient sites aligned to it, exploring the symbolism contained in some of the most amazing examples, including Stonehenge in Britain, the Sphinx and Great Pyramids in Egypt, Ales Stenar and similar sun ships in Northern Europe. I talk about how its celebration was an important part of an ancient religion of the sun that spread to different parts of the world in prehistory, exploring its symbolic relationship to an epic spiritual journey that begins in darkness before returning to the light.
The summer solstice, the time of most light in the year, was one of the largest religious occasions in pre-Christian times. Ancient cultures across most of the world venerated the sun at the summer solstice and aligned some of their greatest sites to it. Many thousands still honor it according to their ancient traditions, especially in Europe where it is known as midsummer. Why is the summer solstice such an important event and what is its spiritual meaning?

It’s beautiful to see such richness in my own heritage, and seeing how connected it is to other cultures and civilizations gives me a sense of brotherhood with peoples distant in space and time. This is so EPIC, so much interesting and unique information and visuals packed into this video - it's a mini documentary. The Ancient Europe OBE theory is very well thought out and may well explain what is going on with so many ancient sites.

Thank you. Yes, I'm not sure people fully grasp how different sacred sites were in the past to most of those built now. Today people just make what they think is a nice looking or functional building, but ancient peoples often built their sites to be entirely symbolic and harmonized with the sun and stars. Each part of the structure had a meaning.

Interesting to learn that there is a portal of connection between heaven and earth exists. Watching some NDE accounts on YT some people would comment that they experienced coming down to Earth through a portal, which looked like going through a worm hole, and some said they remember coming down to earth from the Milky Way, some coming down something like a chute.
I think there is little difference between Christianity and ancient Pagan beliefs in reality, its just the interpretation that causes a rift between them. We as humans also contain many of these mysteries within us, and walk about the earth not knowing that we do or in what way, but I feel everything that has been created is just another reflection of the thing we see outwards, and it kind of makes sense that it does. Not only because we were created from the same Source, but that the signature of Source/God should also be found in Source's/God's creation.
The yin yang symbol you mentioned is also similar to the astrological sign of Cancer, which represents the mother and is seen as the maternal sign of the zodiac. It ancient symbol was the beetle, the scarab beetle seen in ancient Egyptian religious artwork, where the Sun was often depicted sitting above the beetle and if you look at the image of the Temple of Karnak from about 35:39 the Sun rises on the Summer Solstice to the top of an upside down U shape wall which looks like a beetle.

Thank you Lucia. Yes, I hope so too. I don't think most people realize just how much study and research we've had to do to be able to draw the conclusions we do and present these new interpretations. I have to say I am surprised at how mostly superficial the understanding is about these times of year. It shows just how much we have lost our connection to the wisdom of the past. I think it's a lot for people to digest at the moment because so much has become unfamiliar and obscure, but I do think this can change.

What the Summer Solstice means to me! Is the Summer Solstice 22nd June 1967 is exactly 9 months before my birth 22nd March 1967 in the Britain as a precision timing of 3.22am. And that 1967 Summer Solstice also fell on a Full Moon. Not only does the Mythical character known as Jesus as a 9 month Annunciation date but so do I, the Summer Solstice of 1967. And as my dad's birthday is the 10th June, giving a midpoint between my dad's birthday and my 9 month Annunciation date 22nd June is the 16th June. Which is my 40 week Immaculate Conception date, exactly 40 weeks before my Birthdate 22nd March 1968. Well Synchronised with the Summer Solstice and the Spring Equinox. Especially as my mum's Birthdate is the 19th March, meaning that the Spring Equinox always fall between my mum's Birthdate and my Birthdate.
