I actually had a teacher that only wanted to be referred to by his first name. His last name was really hard to pronounce, so he gave up and made us call him by his first name.
Kevin was a great teacher.
I remember when I was in 5th grade my teacher's name was a bit hard to pronounce (especially for elementary schoolers) so we just called her Ms. Julie
I loved being called by my first name when i was an In-School Tutor. I hated being called by my last name when i was teaching in my own classroom.
