No it is not wrong, but maybe not best. In midwest US we use more Nitrogen than is covenient to apply with planter. Also we need Phosphorus feertilizer, which is best early & near seed. These are reasons for banding a high P with planter & applying N with different methods at other times.
Wonder how you find out when and where they have these. Id love to go to one.
