"BRATS"の楽曲に対してBRATS側からの解釈でなく、リスナーからの解釈を入れて"BRATS"の楽曲を伝えたいと考え、異分野のアーティストやクリエイターとコラボレーションする企画を立ち上げました。
この企画は不定期に継続したいと思います。
まず、始めのコラボレーションは、BRATSのアルバム『Karma』のジャケットとインナーブックの写真を担当したフォトグラファーのElena Egorova (LENALYOLIK)です。
彼女がコラボレーションに選んだ楽曲は「棘」です。
彼女が自由に発想して撮影から編集までを制作しました。
We wanted to express the music of BRATS in a different way, by focusing on the listener's interpretation of the songs that BRATS create as artists.
So we launched a project to collaborate with creators from different industries.
This is the first step in a project that we hope will continue regularly.
The first collaboration is with photographer Elena Egorova (LENALYOLIK), who created the jacket and inner photos for BRATS' album "Karma".
The song she chose for her collaboration is "Toge". She was free to create videos with her own vision, from shooting to editing.

“Toge” is my favorite song out of KARMA album, and to me, it is a story about someone, with whom a karmic relationships had to end.
And as a creator, It was a perfect time to work on this piece of work myself, to collaborate with BRATS with perfect time aligned and express my vision of this song.
It was fun to work with Rei, photograph her, and film for this project. Thanks to all the team. Hope you enjoy and feel this out.
アルバム「KARMA」の中で一番思い入れがある曲は「棘」です。
私に、この曲は、カルマ的な関係を終わらせなければいけなかったストーリーです。
クリエイターとしては、この作品を作るには丁度良いタイミングで、BRATSとのコラボレーションは時とビジョンが綺麗に一致したと思います。
Reiさんを撮影、フィルムさせていただくのは楽しく、ご一緒出来たことを嬉しく思います。

嗅いだことのある匂いを嗅いだ時、強烈に思い出す記憶が有ると思いますが、その感覚に似ていてどこか懐かしい気持ちになる。
LENAさんの斬新な視点で「棘」のMVが撮影出来て嬉しいです。
I think everyone has a strong memory connected to a scent from their past.
When I encounter feelings like that, I get nostalgic.
I'm glad to be able to shoot the MV for "Toge" from LENA's unique perspective.

Beautiful, ethereal photography... Really nice that BRATS thought to give another artist's work some exposition, though considering they've already helped lead pan-asian concerts to support other artists I suppose it's not too far a stretch.

This song is really great, with a nice Deftones-ish sway and the shamisen is a nice touch. One of the best songs I’ve heard from them.
