What is discussed here are the musical aspects and it’s plain facts that grime, just like jungle etc, is an offshoot of UK reggae and dub sound system culture. You might not approve of some moral aspects of grime culture, like some lyrics promoting violence etc, but that’s a different discussion. It doesn’t change the fact that grime culture is based on sound system culture.
