I realize that I have mentioned Kevlar on a few occasions. Based on my prior expertise with composites on aircraft, I can claim that Kevlar has reinforced carbon on a number of occasions, possibly including this one.
I couldn’t make out where you fitted the speakers. Are there cut outs holes in the eps liner large enough for the Cardo speakers? I am looking at getting this helmet and currently have a Cardo Packtalk Bold which I will be fitting to it.
@@SteveHarleyTours Thanks my helmet arrives tomorrow, I'm touring Europe on Saturday. I notice from you video the slider for the dark sun visor is UNDENEATH the helmet. Which is a great help, It means I can get the Sena Evo 20-S on, as the backplatewhich drops down and use the 3M self adhesive as you have, and keep the operability of the sun visor. I may have to pack out a bit as the shell seems to have a bit of contour there, but there is plant of spare 3M bits in the Sena box. Thanks again for an extreemly helpful video.
it looks like there is a black plastic piece connected to the bottom of the back of the helmet along the curve of the helmet, some areas have small holes. any idea what that is for?
The pocket in the back is for a custom comm system (by Cardo) for this helmet. The plastic piece in that pocket is just a placeholder to fill that space.
@@Smedis That's right. I have just installed the Cardo LS2 4X Intercom. The placeholder space hosts the battery. Which is neat, because it allows for a much smaller control unit. I am really pleased with this Intercom/helmet combination. The only thing it lacks is Mesch technology. Apart from this: perfect.

Hi there, yes there are pockets inside to fit the 40mm cardo bold or edge speakers
Thank you. Useful video as I want to put a Sena onto the same helmet , so now I have a good idea. 👍
Glad to help you

Yes I saw that, I think is for extra protection of the neck 🧣 but not sure 100%

between Cardo and Sena which is the best intercom?
It’s up to you, read the reviews
لما لم تقم بتركيبها في الجهة الأخرى من الخوذه؟
ok
You want to operate the control unit with your left hand since you want to leave your right hand on the throttle.
Super review. Many thanks. ……..
Our pleasure!
Do you like the ls2 or shark helmet better?
Hi there, i like both but if you watch part 1 you see the chin bar on the LS2 comes up very smooth so LS2 is, thanks
Radio ok? With carbon helmet
What is Radio? You mean intercom yes
Box cables are Radio antenna , normally carbon stops it.
So Radio is fine in carbon helmet?!
Hi there radio works fine and tested, thanks @@feelgooddany
Отличный шлем, но эта сложность с установкой интеркома как-то выпала из виду. Придётся отказаться, чёрт побери.
Looks like this helmet is playing hard to get with that intercom! Maybe it's a sign to keep things simple and enjoy the ride without distractions.
@@SteveHarleyTours Cardo LS2 4X is available as a separate unit for LS2 Helmets in the meantime. A breeze to install.
@@reinhardneumann2600 yes i know we don’t want that
